what's your time worth. Your skill set to get where your at. The knowledge. It's worth a lot...and then hire your junk guy to carry them out under your direction.

hard to tell from video, but they may have vehicle undercoating or bed liner sprayed the oil tank? looked too rough to be fiberglass/epoxy and it tends to break down in the sun pretty fast.

I probably would have went a short brass nipple that fit old bushing and a reducer coupling to increase to new bleeder vent. being it was in a large enclosed convector box where nobdy would see it and plenty of space. aka lazy shortcut on that one. 😝

you couldn't have just replaced the bleeder, quickly, with the system off but still pressurized? That's how we replaced a bleeder recently; our system is only about 12 psi. No need to bleed.
