UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust kzbin.infoUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.

Good logical explanation, always worth having go yourself. Thanks

Add that I think you have explained it well and simply and removed the mystery as to how these things actually work and assisted logical 1st aid diagnosis of any problem that might arise. Is there a good place to get piston seals for ones where the manufacturer does not support or no longer supplies replacements? Thanks again

I have an AR Blue 2000 and it has worked great for about 4 years. Last year I noticed just a little but of oil under the machine. Anyway I just took it a part and was wondering does oil go on the spring side and if so what type of oil. An be used and how much. Thanks

Quick note: you can work out if the capacitor isn't working using a multi meter.

Single phase induction motors need a running capacitor to generate the rotating magnetic field that is needed to make the rotor rotate. Three phase motors used in heavy machinery don't need one.

Those capacitors kick start the motor washing machines and dryers have them a as also important not to touch terminals until they have been discharged you will get a shock 👍👍👍

Great video but I am trying to figure out what chemical to clean the Gunk with and I have what looks like grease in everything and the bearings shot out with the plate that holds them in. So I'm not sure what greese to use either.

Hi,any ideas on my Karcher k6.50mb and why it will not stop pumping water..Ive taken it apart and replaced all valves ,oil seals and oil.A new unloader valve was fitted before this work but it has the same problem. It builds so much pressure and burst the weakest link usually the 'u' clip holding the hose to the gun! I'm thinking maybe the unloader I bought was faulty.Appreciate any tips..

Sebastian, what is the oil please ,if you happen to know ? I did lose some but topped it up with fully syn engine oil. I guess it should have been gear oil?? ? B&D PW1500TD

My pressure washer was working fine and it stopped working. When I squeeze the handle it does nothing, before when I squeeze the handle it turns on and sprayed. Mine is different from the one in the video. Any ideas?

I have an AR Blue electric power washing that was leaking so I have to replace a gasket but unfortunately when I took it apart there is a small spring / plastic plunger that I have no idea as to where it goes. Their tech department is horrible.

Hi, great vid. In have water coming out from between the gear assembly and pump. Where can I get spare parts from. There's a small white disk above the three outlet valves sense to have perished any idea what's it for and it's name. Cheers

Hi, great video, what do you do about the oil when reassembling?

That's what I need to know also.

@@anthonyskilton2679 I literally just got round to this job in the last month, i saw another video where the YTer suggests it's not critical, just cover the moving pieces (this is with the pump on it's end before the head goes on). I think i did manage to find the service manual for my specific washer which listed a quantity but i certainly didn't measure when doing it.

Yes I'm wondering which oil I should use for the piston box? My original one for a Nilfisk 145.3 looked grey and kind of mineral? Maybe something with lithium inside?

Anybody out there that can help me with reassembly of my AR Blue electric power washer. Do the three rings with notches in them have to line up with the notches in the housing.

Hello! The pump in my machine (Stihl RE 106K) is almost the same as the one in this video (only inlet valves are diff color). I detached the high pressure manifold, and then detached the head with pistons. When unscrewing this thing it seems like the chamber with swash plate was slightly pressurized and the greenish (bad vomit alike) liquid (like oil) started to leak. Is this an actual oil, does it need to be replaced and what kind of oil you pour into this area and how many? ... if you know. If the oil is green olive color, is this a problem with water coming from the piston area (through piston housing) into swash plate area?

WTF are u saying?? Those are NOT ceramic seals..the PLUNGERS are ceramic. The title of this video says HOW TO REPAIR A PRESSURE WASHER but it doesn't look like you fixed it. Poorest video ever!!!!

Set the freaking camera down and use both hands for goodness sake!!! And the cap is not 25 "u" f...it is 25 microfarads!!! Please do not mislead people that don't know what they are doing!! As for me, I repair engines and motors for a living and I find this video NOT useful!!!! Sorry!!
