Nicholas Malanga Thank you for your feedback!! Im excited to help. I Love growing Plumeria. The seedlings love indirect sun. Not blazing on them. I keep the soil moist. I fertilize during the growing season with a liquid fertilizer of your desire. I transplant to a larger pot 1 gallon when a nice rootball has formed in my grow cups. The roots will come out the bottom of pot. Then I transplant. Hope this helps!! Check out my other ploomie videos n share/like them and subscribe

I have 6 pods on one plumeria plant. Do I leave them on the stem or do I remove them? The leaves have dropped off. I know how to plant them. I have one seed that survived and has produced little leaves. Tnx in advance for info.

I'd leave them on. I put on a plastic net bag n zip tie to hold it on pod. Pods take 9+ months to mature and open on the tree. The net will catch the seeds so you won't lose them.

Hey Eric! Some of my slaughter pink plumeria seeds have started to germinate with the help of your video. I have them in a jiffy container with the lid on. Should I separate them from the rest and keep them in open air with a grow light? They are all on a heating pad. Thanks for your expertise.

A Diaz That is awesome!! I usually let them get bigger with 2 sets of leaflets they will have a longer Tap root. Then I put them in my grow medium. Any good draining potting mix n perlite. I keep them out of direct sunlight. I don't have any experience with grow lights. Not sure of your climate. I'm in Florida n don't need them.

Very informative video. Can you make a video on how to identify plumeria type from the shape of the leaves?

Hey Eric, How much super thrive did you use when you soaked them? Thanks! Glad I found your page because I'm rooting and growing seeds as well. Hope you do more videos soon. BTW I am interested in your shade structure setup construction.

A Diaz Thank you! Please subscribe to my channel. More to come. I used a small Tupperware cup with lid. I added 1/4 tsp to about 1/2 cup rainwater. I soaked them 24 hours n planted em up. I just did another 50 or so seeds several days ago. Nothing showing yet

What is in Super Thrive and any natural alternatives? We are not in USA and don't have access to those products.

James Ross thanks for your question. I'm not sure what a comparable product it. ST has vitamin B and seaweed extract. It's basically a patented super vitamin compound. You could just soak in rainwater. Same result in softening husk. Hope thisd helps.

James Ross I think you we be fine using B-1 in its place. But I'll let the expert chime in.

A Diaz yes they worked great. Easy enough to just plant the whole cup in a bigger pot. I've also used the expandable pellets. They also work great. Saving some moolah I use plastic cups that I make holes in for drainage. My main way now is to gang root them in a pot together. Once the 1st leaves begin to turn yellow or fall off I transplant them to the plastic cups. Usually about 4 weeks or so. It saves a lot of space and the seedlings are all in the same pans for watering.till they need up potted to 1 gallon pots.

Thank you for subscribing! I will do a followup video showing stages of germination in the Spring here in Florida. Ideally when they sprout I'll plant them in a bigger pot or cup once they have 2 sets of leaves. Total of 4 leaves.

Hi Eric Have you ever tried to use the peat pots by Jiffy?
@trinityexoticsnursery3524
@trinityexoticsnursery3524 7 жыл бұрын
nygfan8 Thank you for your question. I have tried several different ways to germinate. I prefer to use the soak n baggie technique. When they germinate I put them in a small Jiffy tab to grow until the roots come out the bottom or side of pellet. Then I transfer to a small 1 gallon pot n let her rip!! Good luck!! Be sure to subscribe n like my videos. I added another followup to air layering plumeria. It was successful it has a seed pod and inflo on it
