As I suspected in the video, Blizzard did end up buffing the rewards if you end up winning the round. I've noticed getting around 500 is easy after one rare, some chests and mobs, usually takes like 2-3 and that is the best time to restart otherwise you are just running around looking for chests and mobs that have already been taken. I finished at 4 and I only got like 700 rep after like 10 minutes. So if rep is what you want just get what you need in the first few minutes and go again.

Wonderful video, thank you so much for all the info. I was wasting time trying to win. I got 3rd place finishes and my renown was terrible. Once I tried your technique I've tripled it per match easily.

@Quazii WoW I been searching for the answer online but cant find anything yet, I have a option in plunderstorm to have the good captain join me in the storm, Its captain pepe on my head in plunderstorm. I was lvl 24 and my friend was lvl 30 and he doesnt have the option when i do. Have you heard anything on this?

as soon as I heard you need 4-5 matches for 1 renown I didn't even bother to grind this, 200 rounds to get the best cosmetic and mount rewards is just too much while there are much better games to play until the War Within Beta starts :D

It seems to me that the quests you get for bonus plunder is a lot easier to do in Duo than solo too. Seems we always got kill 10 monsters or collect 30 plunder rather than collect 2 items/kill 2 elite. Might just be rng luck though(?)

Just a quick 2? where do renown rewards go in wow. i complete a level look up gloves or pants and not in journal. BUT my biggest question is I hit renown 5 today, there is supposed to be a IN WOW Quest. again how do i get it? is there a vendor or something to claim stuff? nothing n mail box etc.

Awesome I have been enjoying this game mode its a fun run around. I find that Firestorm way OP but love it when i have it. I will change my tactics to farming PVE and fight when i have to. One thing I like what you said when you die dont worry just reload up again 👍👍 Thanks 💪💪👍👍

I am trying to get between 500 to 1k plunder doing pve and the worldquest before I get killed because I suck at the pvp side of it.

Gryphon? You're riding a parrot, because pirates. LoL The best way I've found is exactly what you recommended. Focus on out of the way areas of the map, near the edge of the storm, and try to complete the quest. Then keep killing mobs until they get sparse. At that point if there's players nearby go get yourself killed. Now when you die you keep your plunder, but your body does spit out a bunch of plunder that the other players can collect. If you want to deny them that plunder go suicide yourself in the storm. Sometimes you can find golden chests on the other side of the stormwall. Just use your health potion and you can survive long enough to collect a bit more before dying. If you spend more than five minutes in a match you're probably wasting time. For the harder quests, like loot two abilities, and sometimes the kill two elites (depending on where you land) I just loot as much plunder as I can in a few minutes and the run into the storm, or let another player kill me. It's not worth the time to work on those quests, just die and go again. 6 days in and I'm at 30k plunder, and I haven't killed a single player. I know other people are higher already, but I've probably played about 5 hours total.

The best strategy that I found was to make a gnome with green hair so it can hide & blend in with bushes to help avoid pvp, plunder everything within reach focus on the quest, and avoid pvp as best as you can till there are only 2 or 3 players left (hiding in bushes worked really good as a gnome) then fight when everybody else is fighting everybody & their hp is really low doing this got me 13 wins yesterday. Not gonna lie I know it's a cheap shot to the other players but I really want to get the rewards as fast as I can before they get rid of the event b/c I have limited play time due to work & family

Dude, there are health bars when you get close enough. Hiding in bushes doesn't really work

Not everyone has it set up to see hp bars I saw a streamer yesterday playing who had it set up so you can only see hp bars when they are close to him and that's where I got the idea from. I never claimed that my strategy was foolproof since Im sure that there's a lot better strategy out there that will help you to win a lot more but sadly there's not really anyone out there sharing those so my strategy is better than nothing

That doesnt really make much sense, you would still need to have an ideally 8+ level, not to mention good abilities and trust me at this point you are grinding the whole meta, you arent speeding anything by winning, maybe prolonging it even.

Odd, I've never started in the docks waiting area Quazzi showed. I've waited 2 looong load bars and came in dead on my face. I once came in with 15% health in front of a dyno who 1-shotted me before I could do anything. I got to level 5 ONCE but was DC'd and lost all plunder.

One of the World Quests is to "Collect 2 items" but the items are not spells or anything i can find yet. What are the items?

Things like the barrel, mechano-hog or smoke bombs. Utility items that drop from supply chests

Go to bottom part where there is a long river, a littlebit to the left from where he spawned, theres a lot of elites, chests, and you can land into 6-8 mobs instantly for some items and level. I've been abusing it, and that region gives me or me and my friend level 5 in like 1-2 minutes, with a ton of rares killed, ton of chests, and mobs. And absolutely no people because its not marked as anything.

I don't think flame whirl is op. I just think that you need to play around utilities to counter it. repel hard counters, lightning bulwark and roots soft counter. i have won more games with fish and archon than fire whirl because of repel.

However, its focus makes me really sad... no wonder Blizzard and many others are focusing on predatory microtransaction strategies more and more, when what people seem to be worried about is "getting rewards" in the most optimized way, instead of... having fun? I see this mode as an attempt on blizzards part to create a mode that is easy to understand from an audience perspective and to play from a player perspective. And considering the competitive nature of the game mode, it has the potential to become an E-sport if it's received well. It has everything it needs to be an E-sport bar map diversity and / or CTF, Base / Tower Defense modes / objectives. They could easily just copy the formula and map ideas from League of Legends in order to achieve that. The simplicity of a players skillset makes it very easy to understand and cast from a caster / commentator perspective if it was ever going to become an E-sport. There is an observer built into the game so the potential is there.

Pigeon Hole rewards deep within a limited time game mode (for a different game) that is just a reskin of every other BR. They should have released real wow content. This is a 'new' game, not patch content. It's a HUGE waste of time. I want the rewards, but I do not want to play the 100 or more matches to get it done.

People are starting to use exploits and lagswitching now. Also some abilities are beyond broken you have zero chance some matches. Feels awful.
