definitely all a blast of adventure, humor, action and some nasty moments, in middle a time where poverty, misery and corruption were the daily basis, those highwaymen create a complete revolution of madness, a total classic to watch and enjoy over and over again, one of the best films that i've seen with the charming Alan Cumming, this deserve returns someday as a adult cartoon series continuing with the chaotic misadventures of that pair antiheroes alongside their beautiful lady, a big package full emotions and literally explosive situations, a unique jewel of the genre that perhaps created a new one, !HOW I LOVE THIS¡, !YEAH¡.

What surprised me is that they were real people. In the end one of them gets caught trying to sell lace back to the merchant that had originally sold the wares tho. Think maclaen managed to escape and was never heard from again.

Actually, what I happened to see of the movie was pretty sub-par. Guess that made me forget hearing Craig Armstrong's Escape or I just didn't hear it. I'll drown in thumbs down for this, but I'll say I don't find this movie fitting for that music. In my defense, the music starting at 1:24 shows my point of how overall mediocre the movie is.

trailer great soundtrack amazing movie mediocre compelling character and themes mediocre execution of those themes it was too long too bloated i think it's because the villains weren't interesting enough... too 2d. the crescendo of the film could have been superior. oh well very memorable nonetheless. i actually like the structure of the trailer just enough to invite you in just enough to help you see the essential players and themes being explored craig armstrong. too brilliant.
