Ours was last night and I couldn’t attend 😭😭😭. I’m still recovering from this dang surgery and just wasn’t ready for a social event (these last 3 videos were pre-recorded). I think I may host one in a few weeks for the ladies who couldn’t make it last night. There are some more Ballgown style Regency dresses on Amazon that I really want to try! I haven’t finished season 3 yet!! I’m so excited to finish it- I really like this season!

You have been on my mind for the last few days. I truly hope you are feeling much much much better after your surgery. I loved this video. I read the Bridgerton books long before the series came out. The family feels like , well, family to me. If I were picking I would go with the white eyelet or the dark blue/purple one. And since I’m constantly budgeting, I’d go with the white, because I would wear it for another occasion. I could see it with cowboy boots and a blue jean jacket for fun or with flippy sandals to the beach. Stay scandalous darling!

I knew that I was taking 2 weeks off of work for the recovery and thought that I would spend the first week recovering and the second catching up on filming, working on KZbin stuff, etc. boy was I wrong!! I go back to work on Monday and I have pretty much just laid around and done some prescribed indoor walking. This was my last video that I had pre-recorded and I have a big ole’ stack of boxes by the front door with my name on them!! I appreciate the kind thoughts! I agree with the Bridgerton family feeling like family- I love seeing the inner workings of an outwardly perfect family!

My top dress by far is the blue & white floral (3rd one)! Next come the green floral, and the eyelet. The curtain dress was really interesting, but bad color for me, so I wouldn't be interested in that one. I'd love to see a regency ballgown video! I have so much fun with all of your videos. I am 100 percent sure I lived in that era in a big estate and my daughter now was my sister then because we are very close and can fight like sisters sometimes. My daughter is 36 years old so we can argue it is ok. We are strong minded women and we let our opinions be heard out loud. We move on quickly past any argument we have. You looked pretty in all of them. For the navy one, you would need a tiara!!! For the white eyelet, perfect for a picnic! the blue floral one is very pretty and to make it more regency, add a blue ribbon as a belt below the chest area. loved the white stockings with those. would be cute with white slipper shoes. Also, you tried on a similar white and blue floral dress from Cider in another video. That would work too!

I don't watch any of those shows, so I can't really speak to their fashion. However, I do want to talk about the dark green/gold dress. When designers choose a fabric they Really need to be more cognizant of where patterns are placed. The Gold pattern on the chest of that dress made the "girls" look like they were headed South. Also, I loved the dress you had on when you started the video!

Bridgerton dresses use more over-the-top fabrics than standard Regency dresses, and the dresses go to the floor, so I would reject most of these as options for a viewing party. But I would love most of these dresses for normal wear.

@@BigonStyle They ALWAYS have a sale and clearance section. They're beautifully made, wash beautifully on delicate (I think they're primarily dry clean but I'm allergic to most of the soaps at dry cleaners). I put them in a lingerie bag and wash on delicate with Woolight for delicates & hang dry on a padded hanger. They're very true to size. I'd follow the size charts. They're VERY size inclusive and just absolutely beautiful. I have never felt more like a princess or more special than when I'm wearing them. I think it's a quarterly sale, but they do have a mystery box that has 3 dresses in your chosen size for $250. The next time I see it, I'm getting it!!!

What a fun haul! I’ve not tried Shein but maybe I should for that cocktail attire wedding guest dress that I’ll need in November. I see no use to spend money on an item I’ll wear one time. As much as I’d like to stay away from fast fashion, this may be the occasion…. That last tapestry dress might work but is it subtle enough.? Decisions! Geez! I’ve never watched Bridgerton but long before the video series I’d listened to the books on Audible…several times! The fist thing I thought when you wore the dark blue dress was Violet! And frankly for the rest of the dresses, I loved them all! That bright green print was calling my name as soon as I saw you in it….the colors or should I say colours! And I love all of the empire waist! That style was very popular in the mid and late 1960’s when I was a teenager. Tiny flowers were popular too but in a style and I think manufacturer called Villager and it was a shirtwaist style dress with mostly an a-line skirt. At least the one I had was. And I only had one! It cost about $15 and that was a lot of money back then. Funny that you might be able to find similar styles at similar prices SIXTY years later! Okay enough of memory lane kiddo! I’m betting you and your sweet hubs could host an amazing Bridgerton event..surely you already have a croquet set! Pray that you have continued to heal beautifully from your surgery and are ready for light duty at the office! 🙏🏽💖🙏🏽

Thank you so much, LaJuana! I think fashion is always a cycle- my daughter lives in bell bottoms! (I don’t know that they are back in style, but if she can get them in the mall, I say that counts!!). This was the last video I have pre-filmed, and I have so many boxes stacked up by my front door ready to film, I’m just not ready!! I am heading back to the office on Monday. You know, I had this idea of recovery, I thought I would recover for a week, then get so much done on KZbin stuff the second week- not the case! It is like the last two weeks were in stasis! I am feeling quite a bit better, but wish I had just a little more downtime. Good to hear from you, sweet friend❤️

The 2nd blue flowered one! Then the navy. Then the last one. So many options. You looked amazing in all of them. Wear the bonnet if you go with any of them except the navy…it’s too dressy for a bonnet. 🩵💙🧡
