TLDR, in terms of gameplay these are arguably the best summer servants gameplay wise, with summer 7 being the only competitor quality wise. Summer 7 has supports though, which is why they are probably better.

I think the big advantage of the summer 7 was more because they had 3 SSR compare to summer 8 with only 2. On top of that, each of the 3 are also a top tier, lady avalon as the art version of merlin, summer skadi as another top tier quick support, and summer ibuki as arguably the best AoE servant in the game. Kinda hard to compare them since the summer 7 have more servant to offer.

​​@@farizahmad3036to be fair, Morgan pulls double duty as the third summer 8 servant, and she is easily the best aoe caster in the game, and one of the best Aoe servants overall, while still being able to pull farming decently well as a side gig (funnily enough, she also has the best gatcha CE. Chamantis easy touples The Arc and Koyan Ce) She does wins in originality compared to Ms Not Merlin and MegaGmax Iyo 😂 Also in terms of SRs.....yeah tbh summer 8 wins by virtue of not being weight down by Gareth (aka Diet Gawain)

As someone with a NP3 summer melusine, i didnt have to worry about looping at all in any event till now at least on the 90+ quests (some times even 90++) because dumping every single castoria skill plus xu fu skill on her makes her loop so fucking much its crazy

If you don't have any of those and you really REALLY want to buy SQ, then I guess your only hope is buying via some 3rd party SQ seller. This one comes with risks tho. So proceed with caution. I play on NA, but I also can't buy SQ from my country and I don't have credit/debit card. So I did this method last year to buy SQ for GSSR. Worked fine. Well, it seems that one SQ seller that I contacted is one of the main SQ dealer for every FGO player in my country. So they are pretty trustworthy and they know what they are doing.

Plushie is foregeting Chloe's bond ce that gives a couple of special buffs for free at the start of the battle (3 if im not mistaken) if missing charge is a concern, at the cost of a ce slot you wont be. The best way I've found to use summer Kuro is just as a damage amp and ignore the battery. Either in very difficult nodes to eek out just that little bit more damage, or in less difficult nodes just so I don't have to use an SSR support so I can save on party cost and bond someone else. Mine is almost bond 11 already. The setups that rely on her battery are just too clunky and sometimes too expensive.

Probably important to note that summer kuro can actually shed the enemy dependency on wave 1 w/ her bond 10 craft essence + lvl 10 append 2 skill on the dps. Biggest downside is that you need to have oberon fielded for wave 1 which does slightly decrease the wave 1 damage since we miss the 50% buster up from koyan, but, this is slightly offset by kuro's s3 which is 20% NP damage up. Sequence is as follows; DPS 50% Battery > Kuro S1 > Kuro S2 > Kuro S3 > Oberon S1 > NP > Koyan S1 > Koyan S3 > Plug Koyans > Koyan S1 > Koyan S3 > NP > DPS 50% Battery > Oberon S2 > Oberon S3 > NP. Hope this helps.

Chloe still good for me , Many time she can make some np1 unit can kill enemy wave and she can stake two 20% bond up ce , good for farm bond saint quartz. But yes ... She is not unit that you need to serious reroll for her . If she have her bond ce , I can gain more of np from skill 3 but man ..... I'ma be real honest. Come summer next year, the only thing I'm using the SQ dump we get then for is Chloe Avenger. The ability to allow more flexible farming is more valuable to me than the other units, which would be in roles I have already filled with grailed units.

Since pulling Summer Melu there has been literally nothing I haven't been able to farm out that wasn't an Avenger 90++ (which I think there's been maybe 2 since then, if even?) Summer Ibuki has easier general damage, but that 80 percent charge is a god send to just being able to completely ignore what the wave numbers are. Sure, she doesn't hit as hard as the other two, but when you pop in Oberon and activate all buffs, she still kills everything and anything on T3 anyway, so what difference does it make? Ibuki is great for an all-rounder, Musashi is real good in story content since she has invuln pierce, Melusine is the hands-down queen of universal farming. Her clears are clean every time, and even this recent event with the Voyager 90++ is easy. Personal opinion is that if you want a true can-handle-all-general-farming servant Summer Melu is the current top.

I kinda disagree with kuro's assessments shes really good as extra buffer in 90++ nodes when you only have np2 or 3 servants her extra buff plus plug suit capability will save you when you can't kill those high hp wave 2 or 3 90++ nodes as mentioned her np charge is gimmick is conditional but as said shes really great for players who don't have those almighty NP5 omnifarmers a lot of people kinda forget this cuz they focus on the charge gimmick but she opened up a lot of possibilities for my lower NP servants to do 90++ nodes

One other nice thing about Tonelico is that they do seem to put overcharge event currency CE's out quite a bit, so she can maybe pop her 3 turn 2 in that scenario potentially. Just a really solid servant, glad my new years gssr got me to NP2 of her. Could maybe get NP3 off gssr for anni 9 too depending on the breakdown. Not rolling these banners though because I'm broke on JP sadly. Have to wait for anni quartz and then maybe I can roll if someone enticing enough comes along.

With Zerktoria.... mine does bad dmge with no MLB BG and being level 100 10/10/10.... my other crit units do more damage than her in NP (is they are ST) or in crits (doesnt matter if they are AOE or ST)

Between Tezcatlipoca and Tonelico, who's the better multi-core unit? I've looked over their skillsets, both seem to have a lot of parallels and areas that one does better than the other.

Tez has more flexibility than Tonelico in terms of providing party charge as his 30% party charge skill is unconditional, plus an extra 10% charge per NP. Meanwhile, Tonelico provides 50% party charge and more party buffs but S3 is locked behind a 5T CD, which means if you want to use s3 at wave 2, a teammate who can give OC2 is a must plus the OC Mystic code is needed for CD reduction, so basically more charge and buffs for the party than Tez but more restrictions in terms of team comps. Currently only Summer Castoria and Koyan Dark fits the criteria.

I think Summer Melusine might actually be the best "bring to every fight" servant in the game. She has such a cracked kit that she even beats single enemy fights without much difficulty. Even if you have a strong Summer Ibuki she still will have a good position in your account. If we are comparing summer musashi, summer ibuki and summer melusine, and you could only pick one; it's summer Ibuki. But if you could pick two, it would be musashi and melusine.

thats what i think too, because if we look purely for dps well of course you can get a np3 - 5 ibuki and kill the enemies before they can touch you. And if the enemy has some mechanics (like invul) you can just use musashi who basically deals equal or more damage than ibuki. At the end of the day it becomes easier the more dupes and variety of supports you have for your dps the thing is when thats not the case xD

I tried to use S Castoria on last summer event but even with event buff her damage disappointing. I don't get why you hype her some much, when she hits like wet noodles. The only good thing about her is her special invul, but thats all. Also her NP gain is so bad that I wonder if she really an arts unit.

Her refund is bad but she has 70 battery to compensate for it, 3 anti traits, ability to crit despite being arts zerk etc. she is just good in most ways a zerk has been good and i feel like most NP1s hit like potato so its not just her

"her NP gain is so bad that I wonder if she really an arts unit" full refund shouldn't be a standard for ST arts. There's a couple ST arts zerks that can, but they both have a lot less battery. I'd take 70% battery and low refund in a farming node over 30% and good refund. (also her card gain is really good)

The odds for a rate up 5 star is 0.8% so basicly 125 pulls/11 multis + 4 singles, which comes out to 342 SQ per copy Meaning for NP5 with average luck you would need 1710 SQ

should i skip summer skadi and summer Ibuki for Tonelico and Summer Castoria in NA next year?

It depend on you playstyle. If you use quick as your main setup then no matter what summer skadi is a must. That also goes to summer ibuki if you use art, tho in her cases, if you already have a high invested AoE art DPS such as summer musashi then you can probably skip her. Tonelico is great, but if you want to use her as main DPS then you need more copy of her. Summer castoria also great, she is basically one of the best ST DPS in the game, but if you already have a top tier high invested ST DPS on your own and you didnt play with art that much then she is not a must.

Because they saw gimmicky farm enabler and their brains turned off. After people properly tested her out she is impractical as hell just from cost usage alone.

She is a free attack buff in any comp cuz she plugs out independently. If you are f2p with only np1 servants you could use that extra buff on some 90++. She also enables BG for busters, and if you have her bond CE the number of enemies is not relevant (plushie forgot to mention that) she is niche but i found myself using her a lot for challange quest

In terms of fun I'm not sure 6 minutes of saying how overrated Kuro is would necessarily be tantalizing. 6 minutes of Tonelico praise was far more enjoyable. Overall I'd say the concept of this sort of video is good. Even if it wasn't as enjoyable to watch in this specific case.

I have her and i barely use her myself, i found Cait Cu to be more fun to use since i just play out CQ's to see how wacky i can stack up buffs indefinitely with her, rather than Ms. Make a Mistake Once She Fails Hard.
