I’m a Pluto conjuct Sagittarius ascendant. Recently I had cut some “good” friends off that used me for their convenience. I find more solace affiliating with those who are rather like-minded, because I have more to offer in life than meaningless short-talk, drama, or gossip... But on the other hand I also enjoy being in solitude a lot- I like learning something new everyday, for myself. I just want to live my life honestly as I can. I can be this social butterfly, but the world gets on my nerves every once in awhile. I’d retreat from reality and get back to being in my own little world lmao

The ascendant is more than a mask, it is very important and is what sets the tone for your whole chart and the houses every sign/planet is assigned to and it represents YOU in the big picture aka your chart... The ascendant becomes even more intense when it makes strong aspects to your Sun or moon or makes other strong aspects, outer planets will give the natural personality a high minded nature and a more broader awareness of the world around them and a deeper awareness of who they are themselves.... Pluto particularly may bring skepticism, scrutiny and strong reactions on a subliminal level due to the persons presence, people may have secret hidden thoughts and feelings about the person who has this as well and there may be things about the personality that needs to be controlled, or subdued at certain times because of the heavy vibrations coming from the person's expression.... This person needs to be responsible with their personality and influence because it is likely going to cause some strong reactions in those around them, everything they do transforms the way people see them not only on physical but also on a psychological and emotional level, they should watch out for obsessive self absorbed thoughts, or negative toxic thoughts about their life, and also they should try to meditate and take their mental health and spiritual growth serious because it will lead to powerful rewarding life long transformations for the better.... There is something generational and soul binding that needs to be healed and in this life it will be addressed if Pluto is making a strong aspect on the ascendant.

I have a very tight Pluto ascendant square (0 degrees) and you are totally right. I m extremely selective about people, I trust not many at all and even then I kinda prepare myself to be let down by them. It's like a part of me always expects to be left to my own devices. I don't fret over it though, it's just the way it is. People tend to respect me as well, I do have a somewhat intimidating or respect inducing aura about me. I ve been called secretive and mysterious.

Jaymee Renee I think my virgo side (I have rising and venus rising) is that I’m really self-critical. I don’t relate to all the characteristics. But I do relate to the pluto squaring my asc. I heard that’s pluto can overshadow a lot of aspect. So maybe that’s why we don’t really relate to our rising.

Thanks Steve. I recognize myself in your description. My Asc is at 18deg. CAN and my Pluto is at 19'50 VIR conj. Uranus 22deg. yet my Pluto/Uranus conj. is also conj. my IC 19'45, where this transiting Stellium in CAP makes a trine to my Pluto/Uranus conjunction, yet an opposition to my Asc, and a conj. to my DC in CAP. Going through really hard times right now. There is more to my chart anyways, especially those planets that conj. my MC PIS in the 10th house, let alone my natal Moon in TAU at 23deg in the 11th, opposite my natal Neptune in SCO 21deg in the 5th. My biggest challenge has always been that stellium in the 10th conj. my MC in PIS, which is Chiron (Rx) 22deg. conj. Saturn (Rx) 23deg conj. Lilith 23deg. since all this opposes my Pluto/Uranus conj. on my IC in VIR. Needles to mention that this transiting CAP Stellium makes aspects to all of it while transiting Jupiter in SAG (now in Rx) squares my IC/MC axis too. What to do, right?

No need to downplay, Sis! I too experience the same (personal and professional life). Exes who’ve told me (later) how profound our relationship was for them…that they always learn things when conversing with me. Even down to changing how a position is described on the resume… lol and yes, the office gets spun around with no overt moves on my part. I’m a connector & will quietly bridge relationships with other organizations for the benefit of both my org and the other, as well as little things that go unnoticed by colleagues, but benefit them in the long run. It’s the romantic and familial relationship in play that sometimes is a struggle, cause I know I’m a catalyst for a person’s growth/change/highest good… yet they project and confuse their own reflection for something I am doing to them. Ugh. I’m not perfect and above mistakes… the projection has just been a thing since I was a child! -could be my Pisces moon though (we reflect and see through bs too)

Pluto (and Uranus) is septile - 51,5 degrees - to my jupiter/ ascendant. I do consider this minor aspect in my chart, because it's within 1,5 orb and involves two hotspots in my chart (jupiter closely conjunct to my cancer ascendant + pluto closely conjunct to uranus in virgo). Not sure about its influence though, and just think of it as emphazising the exchange of the planets/points involved. A septile, according to Wikipedia (page astrological aspects), "indicates a hidden flow of energy between the planets involved, often involving spiritual or energetic sensitivity and an awareness of finer and more subtle, hidden levels of reality involving the planets in septile aspect."

I'm a twin and my sister born just a minute before has a trine between her Pluto and Leo ASC and I don't. I've always wondered why we were so different even though we were just one minute apart

It takes around 4 minutes for the ascendant to move just 1 degree, so how can a 1 min difference in birth time make a trine in one chart but not the other?
