0:14-0:17 not sure if it’s the audio or it was just how it was suppose to be but when wearing headphones, you only hear the solo rift on the right side of the ear but on the left you hear nothing

it's sort of a trick meant to lead into a heavier rhythm, or just to sound cool. There's a lot of songs that do it or do audio panning where the guitar leads switch between left and right ears. A great example is Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child, the guitar solo that starts at about 1:52 does really great audio panning between left and right speakers.
