My first car looked very similar. It was a 72 340 Duster with the same Cragars. Mine was a darker forest metallic green. Beautiful car and wish I still had it. Bought it from a preacher's son back in 79 for $800 way out in the country. He had swapped out the fan for a hi performance one and forgot to put the spacer back in. It couldn't pull air through the radiator and kept over heating on him. Cost me 50 cents to fix. He must have thought he had a serious problem.

While I do have a Whiplash cam on order for my Duster, you've not replied to any posts so I highly doubt you will here either, but nonetheless...Care to share information on the build other than a Whiplash cam and open headers? What is "MILDLY BUILT"? That's too relative.

Kman it means cam, stainless roller rockers, intake and carb. long tube headers and x pipe usually follow.

im guessing a Hughes bc their www has a link that brought me here. their musclecar/whiplash cams have a bumpity idle, but do not kill off low end torque. good stuff 👍 hughesengines they make the real chrysler cams that take advantage of the larger lifter bore size, compared to gm. you can have a quicker ramp speed, helping retain low end power without sacrificing high end..and vice versa.

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.:-((

Steve Perez I've had both the small block 350 Chevy has nothing coming both cars were junk cars but the Mopar of the day for the common man were very fast but I like old Pontiac 400-455 better then any of them I forgot about the 440 forget it I will take Mopar
