'PM Modi’s speech rightly questions politics of appeasement, wrongly targets all Muslims'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi last week attacked Congress party over promises of wealth redistribution. He asserted that, Former PM Manmohan Singh in his 2006 speech, had suggested that the Congress would redistribute wealth among Muslims. He claimed that the party would give Muslims the “first right to India’s resources” and redistribute assets among “intruders” and “those with several children”.

PM Manmohan Singh said. “Minorities, particularly Muslims, should have the first right on the country’s resources”. I have heard the speech multiple times to verify. See Mojo Barkha discussion on this with former Congress spokesperson and Abhijit Iyer Mitra. They play the audio and discuss it word by word.
