Everywhere from Kerala to Kashmir , infrastructure development is unparellel in India's history.if it happened twenty-five year ago our country definitely at par with china.then govt were busy with negotiation for self profit.

25 years ago, our country did not have as much money as now to start these projects. The fact that no private company came forward to build these projects on BOT method shows the kind of expensive and unprofitable ventures these projects are, meaning less people use these projects and so unprofitable for a private venture. In a cash crush situation, govt focus on projects that are needed by most number of people than those just needed for defense which will not contribute to gdp as much as a highway/railway connecting all the metros of country. Finally, these all projects have been in planning for more than 30 years except that they were not executed due to priority in other infrastructure projects.

As they say, better late than never. But Z-Morh was supposed to be completed in Dec. 2023, but it is now Jan. 2025. Is the Khellani tunnel complete yet? China is thrashing us on every front. Media and journalists need to grill these self-satisfied netas and babus why they are allowed to post unrealistic deadlines. May be we should add a 30% delay and start saying Viksit Bharat 2077 (130 years instead of 100).

It is 13 months extra taken .. But is done on treacherous mountains not done on plain roads in Delhi so leeway can be given.. But why these Tunnel and highway construction were not being done in last 70 years when we have constant security threat from Pakistan where they have been killing our people and forces and Kashmir is on Pakistan's radar since 1947 and we already fought 4 wars with them.. These tunnels would help very fast deployment of army in war like scenarios or even during terrorists operations as it will help forces to move around quickly and would increase tourism by manifold
