Surprisingly, Hisuian Electrode became one of my favorites in PLA because of its incredible speed. Many times I used it to paralyze something either to catch or defeat, and then get to move one or even two more times before the opponent. It's been very helpful.

Electrode is so fast I can afford to use something like Chloroblast and still move next. I love taking 4-5 turns in a row abusing Agile Style moves

Electrode in general has already been one of the fastest pokemon

@@PM7 the guy who underestimated him most was Mikey, with his video saying electrode was too boring to get any new forms

@@PM7 Unfortunately, Electrode only really had the stats for offensive pressure in gen 1 with the crit formula (and Jolteon was still mathematically better at that niche) and when that was reworked it was just a really fast ball with generally bad stats and an astoundingly shallow movepool. H-Electrode mostly has the same exact issues, but Grass is possibly Electric's most complimentary type combo, while turn priority and Styles do more for fast Pokemon than the old crit formula ever could. If SV reverts to the standard battle system, I expect a significant drop in H-Electrode's favorable perception as a Pokemon unless they give it Powder moves like it so rightfully deserves.

Ursaluna is easily my favorite mon from PLA. It's nearly as strong as Slaking, gets STAB Earthquake when it gets to move to Scarlet/Violet and STAB Double-Edge, and insanely good coverage like Play Rough and Ice Punch. Such a good Pokemon, a good one to share Diggersby's type combo

It's funny how the reasons you love it are some reasons it might be my least favourite. Ground/Normal isn't a new type combo, it's not a particularly good type combo, and 500BST Ursaring was like one of 10 non-starter Johto pokés that isn't in extremely dire need of an evolution. Just like with megas, a strong poké getting further evos is just stupid to me. Still glad other people like Ursaluna so it's not a complete waste.
