This would sound fantastic on most systems. I'm sure it does sound awesome, but play something we all know. That's the real test.

Still - It sounds like a recording and not like a performance.

First off, no recording from the existing technology can reproduce live performances. Secondly, hi-fi audio doesn't pursue reproduction of live performances which to human ears, no matter how perfect the room acoustics are done, can never compare to the sound manipulated by the recording engineers. I am not saying the latter is the answer as I am not an audiophile of the sort but my point is to expect high end audio to sound like what one can hear from live performances at concert halls is a lame wish.

I thought it was worth mentioning considering the ridiculus show-off of gear. @@donpyun7069

The thing is that that kind of performance can be achieved with lesser gear. I didnt mention "live performance", just performance, which comes from the systems ability to deliver music with immediacy and openness. And considering the ridiculus amount of gear I say it again: Even with that kind of show-off gear it still sounds like a recording. So whats the point? Just the reassuring peace of mind that the owner has by owning ultra high end gear and glowing reviews? I know thats how the hifi industry works, but its still silly.@@donpyun7069

Huge. They look like woolly mammoths. Too much for a normal guy.
