I have a friend who hit the ball and the same thing happened to the blocker. His nose was bleeding and he had tissues in his nose during the second set

Regarding disrespectful plays.... at my practice today my setter yelled for help (as we do when we (the setter) won't reach the second ball in time) whilst the other team just fcked up a receive. Worst part was, we were leading by like 15 points. So whilst it was just a weird moment of confusion, it seemed like the hardest dis possible. Like, "somebody help them!" lmao

My most embarrassing moment was I pancaked it and it was an overpass and the other team spiked it back to our side and it hit me in the face while I was still on the floor😂

One of my teammates once hit the ref in the face in the hitting lines before a game and later she told us she did it on purpose because he was taunting her that her hits weren't good enough. That shit was mad disrespectful

My BIGGEST LOWLIGHT was when I was playing front row and the opponents couldn’t get it over the net, I thought they hit it over 3 times so I caught the ball. And IN FACT THEY DIDNT HIT MORE THAN 3 TIMES. But I did get over it and did better for the rest of the game and we did win.

My lowlight just happened this weekend- the sister had to pass the ball and it was abt to short. So I hit the floor to pass it over the net. The lowlight was I slid onto the opponent’s side. Parent were laughing at me and my teammates too💀

my funny moment is that i accidentally hit the net, i mean when i accidentally hit the net when i was about to set is hit the net, but the funny part is the ref did not see so i just continued playing😂😂

This one time I was in middle back after the other team got the ball and libero was supposed to go in for me but they weren’t paying attention, so I was looking over at my coach and wasn’t paying attention to the serve which ended up hitting my face 😭🤭

One time i was subbing out for someone at a home game.. i tripped over one of my teammate’s legs, fell out of my shoe and then faceplanted right before subbing out in front of everyone at my school and their parents 😭

Kind of embarrassing but kind not at the same time, we didn’t have enough people at the school open gym to do varsity and jv courts for practice. Needless to say I (a sophomore who hadn’t played volleyball for more than a few months) ended up on the receiving end of a senior varsity player’s nasty jump top. The ball hit my face so hard it bounced a solid 50ft in the air and we played it for the point.

The term for getting hit in the face when I was playing, was called getting 'six-packed'. If you get six-packed, it is 100% your fault, whether you are blocking or digging. I say this having been hit in the face more than once.

Playing middle and the other teams blocker had his arms too far apart. I bounced it off the top of his head and the ball hit the ceiling. I feel bad for that, but things like this happen to me all the time. I just shrug them off and continue. My biggest lowlight was not being a good middle, but told to play it anyway. I was really late on the block, so I thought "why not receive it from 2m off the net." Fun tourney, but the team we were playing had an ex pro who fired one directly on the bridge of my nose. Ball went up, but we lost the point because my team was worried about me. I was disappointed. I have no clue why I had my hands down.

serving on the coach (or whoever) i disagree, it was 100% not aimed, entirely his fault for getting hit, both teams are lined up for serve hits, and that mf tosses the cart only to then walk in the middle of the court instead of choosing the safe route and push the cart under the net, leave on the side and then walk away outside the court. like, if you decide to walk into the rain, you should expect to get wet ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
