The "no synchronization" command in BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) is used to disable the synchronization rule. By default, BGP does not advertise a route learned from an IGP (Interior Gateway Protocol) to an external peer unless that route is also present in the IGP routing table of the router. This behavior ensures that packets destined for a BGP-learned route won't get dropped because the IGP hasn't converged yet. However, in some cases, you might want to disable this behavior, which is when you would use the "no synchronization" command.
