Saw JJN at the Muni Arts Centre, Sept 1st 2018. What a gentleman, came down into the audience after the gig, doing selfies and signings all free. What an awesome dude.

What cool dude! Would love to meet him. The tone he gets is insane. Mike Ness is another P90 guy-just such a punchy solid sweet sounding tone.

I really really like him . Amazing musician. But his gear fits his style. Don't get me wrong , i'm a fan , but he's playing rock n roll southern style if i may say. He only needs a TS or a booster and great cleans that break up easily . He's a laid back / smooth player who stops to sing and adjust his knobs . He kinda reminds me of Gibbons ( that's something to be really proud of ) . Bottom line is his gear is exactly what he needs and what he says reflect that , it is not 100% universal truth, it's HIS truth for HIS style

Hmmm... epiphone head and neck but epi does not make a body like that for their customs

Nvm a closer look revealed he has removed the neck pickup knobs and the pickup toggle switch.

Look closer...the NP is removed and the other two pots are removed (holes are left open).
@Gladesboy4life7 жыл бұрын
Ahh I see now, he wants all the power he can get going to the bridge pickup, idk why do it to a epi custom pro tho. Guess it's just his style, dope guitarist none the less, he'll go down as a legend, the older he gets the better he'll get
@007snipershot7 жыл бұрын
His main ax is a custom LP with the same setup. With the Epi, he can get crazy with it, leave it out and crap without worrying much about it. Awesome player
