See, this is why immortality, or at least being able to live much, MUCH longer than your friends is not a cool power, despite what you might initially think. I think this and the Regular Show episode, Skips's Story sums that up perfectly. Sure, on the one hand, you're never going to die. But on the other hand, you're never going to die, so you'll witness all of your friends and relatives die. That's not cool, that's sad--- no! Heartbreaking. And the worst part is that, even when you make new friends after those ones die, the new ones are still going to die as well, and the cycle just... repeats. So much so, that when another opportunity comes around, you don't feel joy. You feel sad. Dang, that might just be the most deep thing I have ever said!

I'm finishing MLP: FiM right now, on the 9° season. This hitted my heart like an arrow, the friendship and love on the characters is so pure and honest that they feel like real to me, the "long day without you, my friend" felt like Twilight was talking to me, I couldn't help but let some tears leave my eyes. I will miss you all, my sweet pony friends... On all those months we've spent together while I watched the show.
