Quick correction: Meat also has a launching D2. I'd forgotten that because Meat wouldn't really use the D2 as he has other launchers that are more practical in his gameplan! I can't escape meat anywhere I go, it seems.

I think something worth a mention. Chameleon's debut was supposed to be in UMK3 - home ports edition. You can access an unfinished Chameleon with a game genie or Pro Action Replay code on the SNES, Genesis ports of UMK3. It's a Scorpion sprite with no special moves.

I find it weird that in the genesis version of umk3 I played (I think it was a bootleg version since all the cheats where unlocked when the game booted) the male chameleon was in a black ninja suit and had masked sub zeros moves, but everyone else's gameplay of him in the genesis is in yellow with nothing

I always thought MKA male Chameleon had one of the best designs in the entire franchise. The traditional ninja v-vest and the translucent skin was completely awesome.

There were rumors in the past that stated Chameleon was considered to be DLC for the MK11 Kombat Pack 1, but they replaced him with Shang Tsung.

@@PNDKM I'm always curious of the tier lists of the 3D games, did they change or remained consistent throughout, i.e. Some characters are always strong or weak, or are they different in each game

@@dudunikolaishvili8096 Yeah! Some tools would change quite significantly going into armageddon, plus some general gameplay differences would also make a big impact. I'll have to look into it again but some characters were excellent in DA/Deception but weak in MKA. It's one of the biggest things Im going to find out about going into my other MK Metas.

Scorpion was top 3 in every 3d mk game, bo rai cho was top 2 in MKDA and MKD, but mid in MKA, Drahmin was very good in MKDA and MKA

The male and female C/Khameleon were totally wasted potential for MK11 and it's custom move pool setup. Instead their main gimmick was given to Shang Tsung, which was a very strange aspect in the long run.

If Chameleon were to come back, one thing I would want is to have Chameleon stick with the cyan vest, but every time he does a move, the headband changes color based on the move's owner. An additional recommendation would be to give Chameleon unique variations of the moves to call them their own.

the way I actually remember it on mortal Kombat trilogy he would cycle through all the ninjas but you had control over which one he would turn into when using the special moves

I actually went back to the older games when i found out my main Chameleon was from them. I actually took the time to learn all the ninjas just to be able to be crazy with him. My friends even hated when i played him because they rarely got a win 😅

I think it's a missed opportunity that characters like K/Chameleon and Shujinko weren't even considered for MK11, what with their powers revolving around having a widely varied moveset based on other characters. To me, it's a no brainer and would have made for some cool variety. But, you know, "DUURRRRR! ITS UNBALANCED," cries the modern MK community/FGC. So no fun allowed.
