What shocks me is the month it might take to recover! I want to excercise but I’m afraid I’m not going to get better after the antibiotics are done.

I completed antibiotics too and still feeling fatigue, joint pain and weakness. I believe these will go away after some weeks.

Just got out of the hosp with pneumonia. I have severe copd as well. So my parting gift included oxygen at home. Still taking prednisone and Augmentin at home. Hate that antibiotic. Feeling very sore like hot rocks in my lungs. Was in hosp for 3 days on IV Zithromax and some other antibiotic. Countless nebulizer treatments...oxygen 24/7.

Can pneumonia cause incessant sneezing? Sometimes I can sneeze for hundreds of times. Many times I need to take an inhaler before I feel better. It has been a concern for over two months.
@LevelUpRN17 күн бұрын
That wouldn’t be typical of pneumonia. I would definitely recommend talking to your provider about your symptoms. It sounds more like allergies and/or asthma.

Thank you for the info❤I noticed the serial lactic acid and confusion from the elderly from hypoxia for awhile or new hypoxia.
I got strep throat and developed pneumonia 3 days into the strep infection. They prescribed cefdinir and azithromycin to tackle it. I am scared. I feel dizzy and awful.

Does pneumonia last up to 5years when untreated?
@LevelUpRNАй бұрын
No it definitely shouldn’t last that long… It is definitely a good idea to see your provider about your symptoms.
