6:53 - 8:38 This is a golden one! A lot of us use the first 2 perspectives on daily basis without even realizing. But this 3rd one can totaly change for good the way we feel. It could even improve our vibration and our entire day! Very powerful indeed. Definitely something you want to remember if you feel like dragging your feet into the stuff you need to get done. Thanks Brian!

When we let our conditions and circumstances govern our lives, we "have to" or we "don't want to" do things. But when we decide to take control of our own lives, we can "choose". A very powerful idea. Thanks for sharing!

Thinking about behavioural impediments that I could use to help myself: A hungry lion A roaring river full of extra hungry crocodiles A land mine zone Snakes and pit bulls on an airplane I guess when I feel like I am getting off the path I can use any or all of these....

Hey Brian, You said in another video you must do what you are naturally good at to be overall happy (Mediation 101 vid). So, if one starts a new job that is challenging and does not see a future in and isn't happy does that mean one is wasting time? One chooses to do it to have a roof over his/her head. What does this one do if they want a better life and no misery? Thanks, Chris
@HeroicBrian

Chris Parnell Hey Chris: Part of a longer chat, but I'd aspire to use that current job as an opportunity to cultivate my mastery by doing the best I possibly could while being grateful for the chance to take care of my family and, if there just isn't a real future there, I'd get clear on why what I'm doing now isn't quite it and how I can take lessons learned from it to figure out what might be a better fit! (I'd also make sure my fundamentals (exercise + nutrition + rest) are more dialed in than ever as I'll need the energy to meet the challenge with grace!) That help?! Sending love, -bri

***** Well, that one is me (of course). I am definitely in sync when it comes to exercise and nutrition, however, I cannot say rest is great. I feel drained with the current situation. I also am trying to figure out what it is I truly feel can lead to a fulfilling life. Any advice on where to start? Happy Sunday! Chris

What's your reading schedule? Do you read a book every day?
@HeroicBrian
@HeroicBrian 9 жыл бұрын
Luke Parker Hey Luke: It varies. I read more like 3-4 books per week as I'm also creating PDFs + these TVs + Micro Classes + interacting with our members + running the biz + ... :)

+Brian Johnson That's awesome. Do you use any speed reading techniques? What's your reading speed, and how long do you usually spend on one book to fully absorb it?
@HeroicBrian
@HeroicBrian 9 жыл бұрын
Luke Parker Hey Luke: I don't speed read per se altho I do read quickly. I prefer to focus intensely and imagine that I'm having a GREAT chat with a BRILLIANT human and I want to soak up all they have to say--stopping to write notes, underline, etc. (More on how I read: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGLVpWSZab-lrc0). Depending on density/formatting/etc. I read 30-50 pages/hour. As I read I note the Big Ideas I want to pull out for PDF, then crank that out (2-3 hours), then, in one ~100-minute burst, I do the MP3 + TV + Micro Classes!
