I'm in Rock Hill SC (originally from Beckley BTW) . I've had massive amounts of triv over the last five years and I've sprayed , dug, reseeded and sodded ,on the virge of giving up. So far I haven't seen any. I live in fear that one day I'll look out and the whole yard will be covered

Good video. I do the same thing. Walk around the yard. Clean and reclean the mower. Straighten out the garage. Waiting on spring . I am going to use SouthLand Organics this year.

Hey Mr Fergy! Your lawn is looking pretty dang good,if you ask me.... no weeds has got to be a huge relief for you...I still have some bare spots that I am going to have to deal with ..guess I will put down some tenacity when I reseed in the spring and hope the weeds don't break through..This cold weather is good for us. I am hoping the weather stays cold well in to February ...Ihave 't played any golf either..can't wait to get started back on my two favorite pastimes ( yard & golf)..Did Imention that Santa brought me an Earthway spreader? Looking forward to using. Take care my friend!

That looks like it could’ve been rabbit poop as well. Good luck on your ongoing battle with the Triv, I’m doing it myself.

Thanks. This year seems to be an off year, or easier than the past for sure.

Nice video. I pretty much have the same thing here in southern Virginia I have never had a Poa issue. I upgraded my back pack sprayer to a Flowzone Typhoon so far I have noticed the quick disconnects are very tight Did you have any issues like that with yours?

Mine is looking the same in the Triad. Not my ideal color of green but still the darkest in the neighborhood. Domination will start again come Feb and March

I agree, it won't be too long.

I have had families of rabbits in my aluminum fenced in back yard for a decade and they are harmless to fescue. They just don’t weigh enough when they lay in it and their small droppings are like organic granular fert😂. The opposite goes for the large deer in my front yard🙄. Rabbits do munch on fescue, usually along the edges and where they lay, but they are smart and only eat (mow) the very top, perhaps to not harm the plant for future feedings. Maybe they watched Allyn’s videos and abide by the 1/3 rule😂

Try Tahoma 31?? Very cold/shade tolerant, some are switching from cool season to this and Ironcutter Bermuda

It does look like deer poop. Could be either. Hey!, the area by the playset came in great!

Those are rabbits 💩 my guy....I get them all over my back yard

Interesting. Seems like a big area of grass for just rabbits. Thanks.

@MrFergusonLawn yep, you should be careful, rabbits like healthier grasses in the winter so those big spots are often areas where rabbits eat the grass (sometimes significantly thinning out areas). Their urine can also help thin out the grass so that's why these lawn stress areas seem larger then what you'd think a rabbit could do, but I've caught many in the act, in my backyard at times late at night (1:00am)...evidence of their visits is always left with rabbit droppings..... it's quite annoying actually because they only come out at night so you rarely ever catch them to know it's for sure rabbits, but they can become an issue if they grow fond of your lawn.....
