The time and effort put into the subtle tonal differences in the engine parts create a much nicer end result.

Just a detail. Ohlins suspension is coloured. Gold/yellow zinc for the body of the shock if in steel and Anodised gold if in Aluminium as well as the gas reservoir. The decals/writing is in a darkish blue. The spring is painted/epoxy coated in a solid, deep yellow. The spring adjustment rings are clear anodised.

You are correct, but if you look at pics of Aventadors you will see I did it all right, but the decals should have been black/ blue.

@@NigelsModellingBench I stand corrected! I used/use Ohlins suspension on the team’s race bikes from the late eighties until I retired a few years ago. I was surprised to find out they do suspension for cars and in the images I saw of them mounted on super cars they were all in traditional Ohlins colours. I actually have a pair of very early Ohlins shocks fitted to a mid seventies MotoX bike and they are painted Bronze with a mid blue for the initial compression spring and black for the main spring!

Nigel, I was wondering whether you would, at the end of the build, share with Pocher the discrepancies you had observed between the assembly manual images and the actual parts? This would, I would hope, allow Pocher to improve the product build experience, especially for the less experienced builder..
