With the gold as finishing touch, marvellous. Your pages are spooky but in a kindly and gracious way, i love this vibe! And with a repeating theme there is calmness too. The best spooky Halloween book for my heart😂. You became very busy after all😅 because i know how many hours with love must have being in your folio. Suzy, what an amazing book this one is! LOVE those double sided moths they just make this book outstanding, especially the gold outlines! But one of the reasons I just LOVE this particular book, is it's not filled with a lot of "dark" and creepy stuff in it. It's mostly just grunge, Victorian, and "dark" from the lack of colors. Brilliant job my creative friend!!

I have just become a recent fan of your stunning work. I just did my version of the moth journal and have a question about the accordian journal itself. I used scorched timber to ink the folds as I worked through the journal. I noticed as I was opening and closing it the folds would loosen up and the white would show through so I would ink them again. I wondered if I should use washi tape in the future to reinforce the folds? I had one spot where it did break and I had to patch it with washing. I'm new to this so any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

Hello and thanks so much! Hope you had fun?! Your solution is right on, tape with a little glue is the perfect fix. I’ve had this happen as well. For mine I used the idea-ology Cello Tape which looks like authentic vintage tape. But use what you have, any tape will work great! I would love to see your book.
