Oh the Holborn has my heart ❤️ it’s the perfect layout in my opinion. I had a gray holborn and a navy malden, both pocket sized.

I preferred everything about the Holborn over the Malden, except at the rings were too small. I originally had a Malden. I sold it and bought a Holborn. It just wasn’t big enough so I sold that and re-purchased a Malden. It would be great. If you could pick your preferred style organizer, then your preferred size rings.

Great to see the navy Malden and blue Holborn side by side for color comparison. I prefer the layout of the Holborn to that of the Malden.

I use a pocket Malden as my wallet and love it. By the way, the back pocket (the one on the right side) fits my passport like a glove! I think it's the perfect planner/wallet. Loved your collection! ❤️

I love it. I would like to see them used as a wallet, would it get too chunky to close once you have coins and cards, etc.

I just wish that these companies with ring binders would make the rings removable. I do not like bulk of rings, and hate to use them because I always overfill them and the paper gets bent out of shape. I am just looking for something that fits the Hobonichi Weekly Supplement. I do not want to ruin the look of the binder by removing the rings myself. Yes they need to make more folio binders!

I´m from German - sorry for my bad English. I have two Malden Pocket, one ringless and one with rings and the Holborn Pocket with rings. Both models can be used without rings either as a TN or as a cover, with the Malden being slightly larger and therefore better suited to the pocket size. Take a look at the leather-planners from "Moterm" for example on AliExpress - Moterm produces planner art of the filofax cover for almost all planner sizes. Unfortunately not in the way of a TN in the amount of a Malden, but unfortunately only in passport or regular size, called "Companion Planner". However, I prefer to use the pocket size. But for the Hobo Weekly they have a suitable cover.

I bought the Holborn and I LOVE it but none of my pens fit in the loop!! It drives me so insane, I really hope it stretches out over time

It does, but just a little. I could fit a muji or sarasa grand there. I had a thicker pen for a bit to help.

Hi, can I ask about the Holborn's flatability? It's the only thing I'm not sure about... I like that my planner stay at 180° when I write.

Hi! Holborn lays really flat. Maybe not 180 because it has a back pocket. But it’s much better than other planners with back pocket like Malden from filofax, or even a pocket from Gillio. Just a little note that the rings in the Holborn is 16mm. Is smaller than in the Malden. This video is old, I am not sure if I mention that. Hope I did😆

@@ScientistPlans thanks a lot for your quick answer :) yes, I know about the rings. I’m currently using a filofax flex pocket that I customised adding 15 mm rings, so I’m used to that size

I have a pocket Maldon and the problem I have is when you put a pen in the pen loop you I can not use side tabs (including the one supplied) as they get totally crushed up when you close the organiser, looks a total mess. Is this the case with your Malden? Maybe my pen loop was not placed correctly. Seems mad thst Filofax would supply side tabs that can not be used!

Ohh a little bit. Not much cause my tabs are not super big. Had this issue with another cover so always trim them…
