Finding your channel was one of the best things ever! I have a Vera Bradley bag as my teacher bag. One thing I always keep in mine is snacks! I'm a second semester senior education major and at my student teaching placement lunch is early so by the end of the day, especially if we have seminar after school I'm so hungry!

Yay, new video! I have no idea why, but 'what's in my teacher bag' videos are my favourite! Yes, that's probably a little weird ... Also, I think I forgot to comment on the actual vlogs but I watched them all and I loved them! I like to have them playing in the background at home while I'm working on my own stuff, and I love how honest you are in the vlogs. I've recently been watching teacher youtubers and you've-no kidding- made me sure I want to be a teacher. I've been wanting to for a while and have been going back and forth(even tho I'm only eleven but all kids think about what they want to be) but you have made me want to be a teacher right away. Loved the video... I needed some inspiration to clean my bag out. Perfect timing. I have the same bag, different design! I bought the big zipper pouch and put all my pens, postits, glues, etc. in that. I also put the file folder holder in it to keep my papers from shrinking down to the bottom. Keep the videos coming--I LOVE seeing your energy!!!

As someone who is going to be starting her first year as a teacher and not as a long term substitute I gotta say I'm loving your videos. Switching from long term subbing to being the full blown teacher is difficult to say the least (cause I'm use to the classroom having everything already) so I'm not actually sure of everything I need for my new classroom. But watching your other video about the things first year teachers should and shouldn't have plus this are both very helpful :) I'll definitely be checking out more of your videos in the days/months to come before I start teaching 4th grade. :D

Girlllllll..... don't worry about how long the videos are! I tend to watch them (and not just yours!) in 2x speed. It's fun that way AND can be humorous at times! It's just the way my brain works...coffee overload most of the time.

Thanks for helping me to realize that school is just a day away. I have a two new 31 Bags. I have the Utility Bag and I love my new Cindy Tote. I'm trying to carry less, so the Cindy is fabric and just the right size for my mac and a couple of books. I plan to take the other bag to school for those times when I need comfort from books and papers I won't touch once I get home. Isn't that the way teachers roll? Have a great new year!

I carry a little toiletry bag in my backpack as well, mostly because I ALWAYS need chapstick and I hate not having any. I know that Dollar Tree has little first aid kits if anyone wants one to add to their toiletry bag. Also, you could look into Happy Planners. They're similar to EC planners but you can make and add your own pages so that could work as a lesson planning thing for you too!

Michelle, there is a hack to wash it. Dawn dish soap in the bathtub with hot water. Soak for five or ten minutes. Scrub with like a dish brush and then rinse and air dry. I found it on Pinterest. I am also a consultant.
