Haha this mate 20 pro review is sort of biased. Like the skin softening on the selfie cam is neglected. He mentioned that the front camera has 1080p video recording and also said that he expects higher. Although no other phone does video in the front camera more than 1080p. :(

Well what I really hate about MKBHD is, he Doesn't give the recognition to Huawei where it deserves, or he never acknowledge it. Well, mate 20 pro is a much better well rounded phone than the pixel 3 XL , Bette priced, bigger battery, almost same level of camera performance, in fact better performance than the 845. That's what pisses me off.

The pixel's software and camera is above all of it's competition. It's two of the most important deciding factors when choosing a phone. Huawei mate 20 pro may excel in every other other category. But i think its camera (front) and its software are its biggest weaknesses. Plus it isnt sold in the US. It has also stopped the support for third party launchers in its UI.

Nope. Have a pixel 2 xl and 20 pro, indoors the pixel is sharper and has more natural colors. Also you get better shots easily. You must really hold the 20 pro steady and the slightest move will ruin your shot.

I REALLY wanted the Mate 20 Pro, but buying a phone outright (USA carriers don't offer them on monthly plans) is very expensive. I settled for buying the P20 Pro, which is still an absolute beast, and it's the FIRST phone I've ever owned that has made it through a full day of use without needing a charge. I do not regret the purchase and the smaller form factor is probably better for my daily needs. However, not being able to buy a phone with warranty or support in my country is a little upsetting. I feel that I might never receive the Android Pie/EMUI 9 update.

Watching this satisfyingly on my Mate 20 pro. I don't think the speaker is a downside since most people are actually using a headphone anyways. Not many phones have Dolby sound just to note. Besides that the phone is just "Flash" fast and the battery life is a killer. You can't go wrong with his phone if your looking for the best in Android.

Your forgot to mention: It supports RAW output of photos. The generated JPEGs only capture 50% of the true quality of the camera sensors, especially due to the aggressive noise reduction - large prints of the photos are not possible, since the noise reduction destroys the details. The zoomed JPEGs look like painted with a brush. The RAW images allow full access right down to the single pixel with all the details preserved in surfaces and objects far away.
