iPhone 11 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy Note 10 - Which is the REAL Pro?!

To call a product - Pro, a company is implicitly saying that its device is made for professionals. An ideal solution to help you get certain things done, better than you could with others. Thing is, if you've spent the last few years with an iPad Pro, you'll know that Apple's definition of Pro seems to vary. Originally it was the Apple Pencil which separated the Pro from the amateur - a direct bow to the Samsung Galaxy Note that kept believing in a feature that Steve Jobs once mocked. The irony is that Samsung has never called its Note a Pro, even if it advertises it as made for professionals, so I guess there's only one way to know which one is the right kind of Pro for you. ive been an phone user since iphone1. immersed in their ecosystem. appleWatch, apple TV, Ipad and Iphone. i decided this year to change to NOTE10 and give up iphone. guys i was missssing too much by using iphones all these years. the note 10 is truly incredible and indeed made for pro and multitasking. respect for samsung

I did the same thing last year upgrade to Galaxy S9+ from an iPhone 6+ and I think is a much better phone, however software updates are lacking still waiting one UI 2.0 and I assume Android 10 will take even longer, Apple is great at keeping devices up to date and support oldest devices much longer than Sammy, I still got my iPad and Apple TV though I don't think I will be getting a new iPad because my surface device is enough but the Apple TV I genuinely like, I believe is the best streamer besides I still need to access iTunes on my TV for my movie collection.

I bought and downloaded Shin Godzilla watched in great quality and sound like would with a Plazma television and the used up space is about 49 gigabyte if I had the iPhone pro I notice how much speed and resolution I would lose. iPhone 11 pro over all might be a good but I'm glad I bought the Note 10 plus. I have so much space and still the phone is fast I use whole and charge it for hour to use it again it might not be a great phone but still it doesn't drop calls and I can use it everyday

Galaxy user for years here, decided to try the new Pro Max 11... here is why i just took the Apple back and switched back to the Note 10+.. - Trying to take portrait mode pictures in low light sucks with the iPhone, it asks you to get 3-5 feet away, very annoying since you can do a live focus shot with the Note 10+ and it takes pics fantastic close up... - Screen is MUCH brighter, vivid. The screen on the iPhone just seems like there is this smokey haze over the whites, very annoying, the screen next to the Note 10+ just is subpar. - No multitasking whatsoever, won't happen with Apple... - No text message archiving, what a nightmare, having to live with a messages box with 500 senders in it, with Android Messages you can easily just swipe and the message gets archived, and it's not clogging your message box, if you get another text from that person the message reappears with the history, wake up apple.. - The Galaxy is just a better phone all around, having to pay $1.29 for a ringtone is ridiculous, or having to get a 3rd party program to interface with iTunes to get tones moved around is a MAJOR PAIN. The only way one could like the iPhone better is if that is all they ever used and the Android is intimidating for them, which is what i typically see.. - Also, forgot to mention, another camera gripe... the wide angle is a JOKE! compare the wide angle on the Galaxy Note 10+ and iPhone, see for yourself... Now trash that iPhone and get the real deal!

Samsung has a very common problem: overtime, the performance deteriorates significantly and these can be noticed with phone starting to heat up, apps crashing and interface lagging. Whereas for iPhone, they always win because their performance does deteriorates but not as significantly as Samsung. Notice using iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 11 plus. Their common usage speed such as opening messages etc are same. Also, the touch is equally responsive. But for Samsung, if you compare previous versions with the new ones, the differences are noticeable.

And before anyone claims I'm being bias I just purchased the iPhone 11 for my wife because it suits her needs. So I have used both for a decent amount of time and still prefer Samsung over the iPhone because I have the freedom to do what I want on my phone how I want to do it. And not be told this is the way you have to do it if you don't like it too bad get use to it, the Apple approach. And water resistant is slightly better who's jumping in a pool with their phone anyways

11 pro max has the longest battery life , better ram management and is faster , i dont need widgets because i have shortcuts and i never needed a split screen view , for such things i have an imac , note 10 is just another piece of tech for fandroids full of specs but no performance in respect for those specs , just embarrassing that even the 12 gb ram note 10+ loses in a computing task to a phone which has 1/3 of the ram

If you like customization and different features with an open mind than it's not bad decision. I own and use Note 10+, and iPhone 11 pro max too. I just put my sim-card back into my Note after 10 days of using the iPhone. ( just to be able to compare them) . Ps: if you still can find 10th anniversary pack it's a great deal Note 10+ , galaxy watch with 2bands, galaxy buds too. I think great value for its price.

Good job highlighting many of the pros/cons of both. They're both good devices meant for a slightly different target user. I would mention Dex mode for Samsung devices, because while it isn't popular yet it works very well. I would go so far as to say with a $25 Amazon usbc to hdmi adapter the note could replace a computer for most people.

They both look good I handled 11 pro max and pretty to look at except the notch. I'm sorry that's just me but very boring a lot of money to make phone calls on. I don't use split screen every day but I did sometimes for the money it's nice to have options. And if your buying the max you should be able to use the screen. And I really love having an app drawer and picking my widgets I can't go back to Apple. And 64 gig that's a slap in the face. And now Sammy had 15w wireless charging and more than happy with 25w wired and even faster power share what more could you want

Where the Note falls apart on being a Pro device is Android’s app ecosystem. As a creative type, I switched to the Note 10+ for the spen, hoping I could do some pretty cool stuff with it... but the Photoshop suite doesn’t work nearly as good on Android as it does with iOS, and iOS exclusive apps like Assembly, Procreate, Vectornator, Affinity Photo, etc completely demolish what Android has to offer. Not only that but when sharing content, social media applications compress Android photo files heavily compared to iPhone ones. The stock video editing apps on iOS are no joke. For amateurs, iMovie is incredible to use and so is Garage Band- Android does not offer anything like that in the same ball park. How is a professional expected to use a device aimed at creators that doesn’t offer best in class apps, far from anything near what the iPhone offers? Hardware isn’t what makes a device pro, software is. And although it doesn’t have multitasking or an S-Pen, the iPhone offers more pro tools, especially if you’re looking to invest in the ecosystem where AirDrop and iMessage are absolutely pro essentials. I ended up returning my Note because the compromises are not worth it. It is pro in terms of hardware but definitely not in software, and that’s what honestly matters most since that’s all you’re ever interacting with. The iPhone has a fair balance of both worlds, with not the greatest specs on paper, but some of the most efficient software to make up for it- along with an OS that just works all around perfectly.

Check on the apple store compare to galaxy note, iPhone display is a much brighter, but the colour accuracy according to the display mate is similar. And the camera, you mean samsung use same camera as the 2016 galaxy S7?

I definitely think apple is being praised way too much. After years of people complaining they finally get better battery life, and they're being absolutely praised for it? Should have happened a long time ago, or shouldn't be one of the main "new" features. Also, the camera's aren't anything that amazing. I'd say on par, if not ever so slightly better than the competition, it's not like they smash every other phone out of the water. Personally prefere the Note's camera in all areas in this video. And then the display... still confused as to how everyone thinks it's better than the Note 10+'s which is higher resolution, larger, has smaller bezzles and doesn't have a big ugly notch cutting into it. iPhone 11 ain't impressive they're just catching up.

@@benb4397 The pen has some very practical features I use daily. Most used is the deft way it does screen captures which aids me in gathering visual info. Making gifs, "Extracting text" and translating individual words by hovering are used constantly. I almost forgot, the drawing abilities are the reason I started and stay with the Note.
