POCO "Sinners and Saints" The Ritz NYC 1990 (Jim Messina) PLAY IT LOUD!

During the Legacy reunion tour Richie Furay had just left when Poco did this very succesful show in New York at the Roxy. I was allowed to film the 2nd half of the show. This new song by Jim Messina has Rusty Young 'show-off' his incredible talents on lapsteel. Randy Meisner on bass and George Grantham on drums from the original line up are joined by Jack Sundrud on guitar and David Vanacore on synthesizer.

I've heard Jim Messina's band doing this song, but Poco's version is so much better. Rusty Young is amazing! Great song by an underrated singer, songwriter and guitarist.

Were the conditions of being allowed to film this require that Randy Meisner and George Grantham were not to be seen the whole 13 minutes? That’s what it seems like.

The 2nd half of the show was more than 13 minutes....;-) I focussed (in between a very large crowd) on the main players on this song, but can imagine you'd like to see George and Rusty (and Jack and David) better. So do I.......
