( 32:50 ) When Will's mom & Hopper go to the UpsideDown looking for Will, on the way (in the forest I think?), they find a big ass egg-looking thing. They even shine a light on it for a bit. I'm pretty sure it's a monster egg. And I do think there was only 1 monster in this season. But that slug Will coughs up at the end kinda suggests he's been, for lack of a better term, "impregnated" or something. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think Eleven definitely knows that what happened wasn't just something between friends. Even with out experience with that kind of relationship I think she knew. Even if El doesn't know what love is or boyfriends are, she still knows that her feelings towards Mike were different than those towards Dustin and Lucas. Also, while I do think their romance was unnecessary, I also think it was made realistic in the way that Mike obviously had stronger feelings for El than El did for him. I'm glad they didn't make their relationship mushy or super official.

+Krissy V i think you can look at there podcasts differently than, say, Jenna's videos. Podcasts allow you to see them have discussions on a real/realer level. that said, they'll have days where they dont sync as well. As a viewer, you have the choice to watch a podcast or not depending on how you feel.

Also, although I understand the need to be professional, so much of their job is based on being their genuine selves. Even if you want to argue that they shouldn't put the bad in something that's sponsored, I think a little courtesy should be extended considering there's so much pressure on them to be real with us. And I don't think just because they were a little out of sync means they were being unprofessional. I mean, they outline these, they don't script them. They have hundreds of thousands of people watching them because of who they are and an investment in their daily lives. Just something to consider.

I worked for a vet and it was a rollercoaster of emotions everyday. I was the office manager and helped in back when I needed to and I tell you it was the absolute best job I ever had. Could I have been the vet, nooooo way at all. The perk of the job is seeing the absolute best of humankind, pet owners, good pet owners, big men reduced to tears if their chihuahua had a cold or a patient who was very southern and every night her owner sat in her recliner and had a beer and a twinkie so her golden retriever had a twinkie too because she'd pout until she got hers too and we had to get on her because she got overweight and her owner literally did it and cut down her snacks to just diet food and got her to her goal weight, just things like that. I was up front so I got all the lovins from the puppies before they saw the doctor so my job rocked, I had a patient who would run in, jump up to get her kisses and she could actually smile, real smile, omg. We had a clinic dog who had been hit by a car and our doctor saved him and he lived at the clinic, he slept under my desk all day, and kept me warm in winter. The downside was the dark side, the assholes who didn't vaccinate their dogs and id watch the puppies SUFFER with parvo, that disease is the worst thing ive witnessed and is so preventable. Then people wouldn't understand their house and yard was now contagious for years and they'd go do it to another dog. Or dogs that were half dead, starved for weeks and people would lie and say they just looked like this a couple days ago, except we weren't goddamn idiots and it took weeks or a month for a dog to get in that shape. Omg the anger, and I never held back my feelings either. The other bad side was my appointment schedule, you become close to these animals, I even dog sat, and with their people and the day would come that some had to be put down so I could go from a new sweet puppy exam full of smiles and cuddles and then a patient would walk in and we'd have a euthanasia appt and after saying goodbye to a family member id have to charge people for it, and sometimes what most don't know is how euthanasia can go wrong, how sometimes the animals body rejects it and has to be given more and more doses and theres convulsions and uncontrollable bowel emptying, that was a darkness I never knew about ,so after id just hug them, cry with them, everytime I had to make arrangements for burial or cremation and charge people it broke me in half, then if they'd chose cremation they would come pick up their babies remains, including leash and collar, now im crying, and we'd cry together again. I still remember my patients, I still remember the owners and this was years ago, my favorite job, so many memories. I was like Jenna always wanted to be a vet not knowing the darkside of the job so im glad I had the experience I did, seeing a dog come back from parvo, seeing a dog beat heartworms, that treatment is BRUTAL, seeing a dog hit by a car get better, I mean nothing beats the feeling of the good moments in a vet clinic. MORAL is PLEASE VACCINATE YOUR DOGS, THERE ARE CLINICS THAT ARE CHEAPER AS WELL AS THE HUMANE SOCIETY, GIVE YOUR DOG HEARTWORM PREVENTION, heartworms IS GOTTEN BY MOSQUITO BITES SO ITS THAT EASY TO GET AND ITS FATAL, GIVE YOUR DOG FLEA AND TICK PRESCRIPTION PREVENTION NOTHING FROM ANYWHERE BUT A VET WORKS AND TAPEWORMS ARE CAUSED BY DOGS EATING AN INFECTED FLEA AFTER BITING THEIR POOR ITCHY BODIES, YOU WILL SEE PIECES OF THE WORM IN THEIR POOP IT LOOKS LIKE RICE, THEY NEED A PRESCRIPTION FOR THAT. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOUR PETS, BRUSH THEIR TEETH, FEED THEM HIGH QUALITY CRUNCHY DOG FOOD, IT HELPS THEM KEEP THEIR TEETH, soft food will rot their teeth, no people food is best. For the love of god do not buy cheap dog food, if your dog sheds alot, it could be due to their shitty food like Ol Roy at walmart, sorry but if you feed your dog that, fuck you. I was a little late to Stranger Things because I thought it would be scary, but I'm so glad I watched it BECAUSE IT'S AMAZING! I can't wait to see what happens with Will and his new secret power. Although, you'd think after everything that happened, he'd trust his family enough to tell them when weird things happened... but children have no capability for logic, so I guess it's realistic. I just know 11 is alive. She's GOT to be! To me it looked like she was pushing the monster through to the other side. I mean, the pressure left an impression on the classroom wall, so it would make sense that she pushed it so hard they passed through.

As for the portals question at the end of the podcast, when you look on the map of where the locations were popping up, they were all pretty close to the main portal in the agency. I think because the main portal in the agency opened up, the energy from that area (compass going all cray cray) is so strong that its capable of creating temporary portals (forest one closed & the house portals closed ), but only withing a certain radius. Wills house was close, Steve's house was close. The only time a portal randomly popped up outside of that area, was when Eleven made it open. She has that ability to create. So unless El just starts creating more just cause she can, I don't think more will just pop out where ever.

i don't think Will is somehow a host for the demogorgon because in one scene they briefly showed a giant broken egg in the "shadow realm". so assuming that was a demorgorgon egg, i don't see how Will would be able to lay one of those, lol. he is obviously infected with something brought over from the shadow realm and still connected to it tho.

also, i think there are multiple portals but some seem to only open for a brief time. my theory is that the demogorgon who Eleven contacted telepathically is able to punch holes into our dimension, and the holes close back up after some time (not including the permanent doorway/hole used in the lab).

I feel like I'm the only person that wouldn't be angry if Stranger Things ended this story after one season. I love that type of open-ended/open to interpretation cliffhanger ala X-files and The Twilight Zone. The way the season ended on a doom and gloom note (Will populating Earth with creatures) and hopefulness (Sheriff leaving Eggo's for Eleven), was fucking poetic. I guess I'm also worried that they can't live up to the first season's pacing and sense of awe now that everything is in-play. Perhaps the second season can be a new story within the same universe.. like still featuring the Upside Down and perhaps cameoing Eleven, but with a new cast and new main plot.

my ideas on stranger things- i literally watched it yesterday and i can't describe how angry i am that jonathan and nancy didn't end up together like i don't think theres a possible way i could ship them anymore and honestly i want steve killed by the monster, not because he's "in the way of jonathan and nancy" but because i cannot stand his character in this series. also when i first starting watching it, it reminded me of jumanji too, don't worry jenna i see where you're coming from. also i feel like maybe because of the agreement, hopper (the cop) may have had something done to him and therefore thats how he can connect with eleven?

( 51:15 ) All the portals are seemingly temporary because they close up. The tree closed up, the wall closed up, & the ceiling closed up. I think the only permanent portal is the one in the laboratory. And they have all been from a physical source, like a tree, wall, or ceiling, so I don't think they could just be made out of thin air (thankfully). I think the monster has the ability to make temporary portals. Although, when Will talked to his mom through their wall at home, when there was that pink membrane between their faces, that wasn't made by the monster, right? Honestly you're right but saying 'what the fuck are you doing?' is absolutely valid because her climbing into that tree was completely unrealistic. Who in the world would climb into a hollow tree covered in strange cobwebs and alien goop. Also after climbing in just a little bit she had to have realized the tree opened into another world because the tree wasn't that big and she didn't end up on the other side of it. She had to have known there was something supernatural going on yet she kept on climbing in. (Also just debating :) )

Inside is maybe my favorite game this year, it really goes hand-in-hand with Stranger Things in a weird way.. with it's commentary on exploitation and control. What a brilliant and fucking awesome looking little gem of a game.

I agree that Blob was controlling the boy in an effort to break free. What I want to know is what the origins of the Blob/boy are and why they have a special connection. I think the Blob is the result of human experimentation on the parasite worms (that controlled the pig in the beginning). Something that most players miss is that there is a miniature model of the ending hill (even includes the spotlight), that you crush as the blob when you fall through the ceiling. This leads me to believe the whole scenario is a carefully planned test to see if the Blob can escape, not much different from tests in which mice try to find cheese at the end of a maze.. This explains why there is a couple of workers that seem to _help_ the blob and point it towards escape near the end (they didn't know the boy was the blob's tool, hence the efforts to stop him previously). Either way, that model needs to mean something...

I had sort of a different take on Inside. I think at the beginning the boy is human and is trying to break into the factory for some reason like saving a loved one. The point where I think the blob is in control is after the boy is dragged down and equipped with the mind control device. At this point I believe the boy is dead and therefore can be controlled by the blob. Also, I think the factory is a cloning facility and the blob is the main source they pull parts from and assemble them into bodies.

Steve isn't a bad guy! He's a dumb teenage boy and had shitty friends but he's not inherently bad. 1. Yes he wanted to bone Nancy (what teen boy wouldn't?) but he actually did help her study when she wanted to. 2. Yes he broke Jonathan's camera but Jonathan took a creeper pic of Nancy and there's no excuse for that. Even though some of the pics were legit, that one wasn't. So Steve did have a reason to be mad. 3. He walked in on what could have only been seen as a tender moment between Nance and Jon. Anyone would have taken it the wrong way. 4. He actually helped clean the spray paint from his friends' vandalism even though he didn't do it; he cares about Nancy and didn't want her name smeared like that. 5. He played a major role in killing the demogorgon at the Byers' house when he could have just gone home. 6. He bought Jon a new camera because he knew he shouldn't have reacted the way he did. The only thing he did that I thought was really douchey was saying that he's glad Will died

I definitely think we will learn more about Hoppers daughter. Think about it She got scared at the park when hopper acted like a "monster" Then she suddenly gets sick And when hopper is in the upside down, he sees her stuffed animal Then they show the parallel between the slime in wills throat and the tube in his daughters And then he suddenly is talking with those guys at the end... It's suspicious, and it would make sense since 11 is a number meaning there were possibly other kids before her!! Just my thoughts lol

I loved everything you guys had to say about Stranger Things! One theory I’ve heard is about what really happened to Hopper’s daughter. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think anyone ever said what caused her death. Due to her appearance, many people (including myself) just figured it was something like cancer. David Harbour, who plays Hopper, had a Reddit AMA recently where a fan asked if he knows specifically what happened to Hopper’s daughter. He answered, "Yes, but it’s a secret we may explore in s2, so don’t wanna say right now.” I’m very curious to see if this will actually happen. Theory: Eleven couldn't have been the first one they used to experiment on. Before Eleven, there must have been 1-10. When I was watching the series the first time, I thought Eleven might have been Hoppers daughter because he talked about his daughter being missing or something like that. But then they met El's mom, so I knew it couldn't have been her, but what if one of the people they used for experimentation was Hoppers daughter. . . I'm sure a bunch of other people have come up with this theory already but just in case they haven't, I wanted to voice my theory.

Why does no one question why Eleven is tattooed 011? I think that makes it clear that there are others like her. She could be the 11th of telekinesis children. Why else bother to call her eleven & tattoo it on her? And why chose eleven out of all the other numbers? Better yet, why feel the need to tattoo her except to tell her apart from others?

maybe the other 10 somehow evolved into the demogorgans and thats why the doctor treated her like his child, because she was the only successful one and thats why they were trying to go back into the portal to capture or kill the failed experiments which also explains how they can both flip between these 2 realities

I think the main issue with games like Inside and Limbo is that it really doesn't seem like the devs have a specific plot in mind. They have an illusion of plot designed to get people to talk about it. There are of course characteristics of a plot, but they aren't flushed out AT ALL and there are next to no hints which literally makes it impossible to piece the plot together, which, in turn, gets people to talk about it and discuss theories.

I thought the waffles were left as like a "message" to eleven. We've seen that things that are changed in the "real world" also change in the shadow world. Like the lights that the mom put up that Will can interact with that weren't there before. So I thought the waffles scene was to let us know that eleven is still alive and that the sheriff is trying to send a message to her that she'd understand.

Oh! Inside! Have to say it's been my fav game you two have played so far! I've legit watched all three parts about 5 times! I was doing a little research too and someone else commented this and it kinda blew my mind... If you pause your Pt. 3 (Ending) video at 45:01, you'll see! After you fall through the elevator shaft and the floor as the Blob, you go through the roof of some kind of display, and you notice, it's a display of the Blob's final resting place at the end!! (the hill, trees, lake, sunlight shining on one spot). Whaaaat?! So were the citizens trying to get you there the whole time?! They were trying to help you escape, opening doors/hatches, etc. but why?? And an observation I made as well, is that ever since the mermaid gets you and drows you, you have been consistently going deeper and deeper (you sink really deep after she plugs you in, and you go even deeper in the sub). You never go up far enough to truly be 'outside', so that's another reason I think the final resting spot is just another cage for the blob. I don't think you'll see this, but I really hope you do because I've been DYING to point that out to you!!! But yeah, Inside was great!!! I unlocked the secret ending too (you need to turn off 14 of those power orbs with the yellow cables).

Stranger things thoights : There was an egg with a baby monster in it when the Mom and Cop went into the shadow world. Yeah WTF with Barb?? Obviously I think Will is turning into a monster :( Eleven has to be connected to the shadow world more somehow because she left with the monster... I don't know?! It drove me nuts because then why was the cop secretly feeding Eleven at the end? Just to hide her? But I got the feeling she is coming from the shadow world.. No? Agh! It's so crazy. I need MORE! Haha it was AMAZING. Also, I need Will and Eleven to meet up again... See where that goes now that he is part monster. Will she help control him? And Nancy and the brother DEFINITELY need to be together. Totally ship them.

I think Eleven's Mom can't talk because they "the bad guys" were drugging her. Just like they wanted to do to the cop. And now that the bad man is dead maybe she won't be drugged anymore and will start talking/being normal..? Maybe? I also think that the bad man, Who Eleven called "Papa" IS her actual dad. Since they "didn't know she (her mom) was pregnant when she agreed to do the scientific testing" I think she WASNT pregnant going into it, but got pregnant by the bad man ("papa") as his way to create an "Eleven" with special powers from birth..

Some of details I wanted to share are that when the boy in inside was in the line pretending to be a zombie, you can see actual humans with kids watching the zombies, which makes me think that it was an experiment and rich people were watching and judging the experiment. Also, the little head helmet things that the boy wears along the journey to control the zombies are connected to the blob in the tank. That means that the blob could have been controlling a lot of other people/zombies too. Also, the blob exhibited human qualities, like grunting and moaning, ( which the other zombies in the game too) which makes me think that the blob and the boy and kinda the same, zombie and human.

Stranger Things Talk: The only case in which a portal tore open and stayed open in both realms was when Eleven opened it. In every other place they closed shortly after. If it were the case that once a space was opened as a portal, and stayed usable, it would only be visible or passable in the Shadow realm. This would also make sense with Eleven at the end. If she was truly trapped in the Shadow realm she could use a portal to get the food in the place Hopper left, but the portal would not be visible or usable by Hopper or the lab people from the outside. I also think that Eleven will be able to communicate with radios to the boys and the lab even from within the Shadow realm. Michael still had the radio she played with sitting in her little bed space in the basement, I feel like that will come back into play. Speaking of the parallels between the D&D game and the events in the show, I was expecting the Hydra monster in their game at the end to be a foreshadowing of what's to come in next season, but just a theory.

I think that the whole last game sequence was foreshadowing for the second season- the thesselhydra= new monster, the lost knight= chief hopper, the proud princess= nancy wheeler, and those weird flowers in the cave= the waffles put in the box in the woods.
