In my opinion, I like how you guys are facing the camera, instead of facing each other (like traditional podcasts) because it makes it feel like more of a conversation that the viewer is apart of, than just a conversation that we are watching. It's more intimate, less intense, and it's probably why I personally like your podcast the most out of any of the podcasts I've seen. However, I know it's your podcast and you guys can do whatever you want, and ill still watch you guys no matter what you guys do, but I just like the set up of this podcast the most :)

I have a retired racing greyhound! They are so big but the sweetest kinds of dogs ever. They are so grateful and loving. They can be timid at first... Most of them don't now how to do stairs. They follow u everywhere. All they really do is sleep and cuddle. GET A RETIRED RACING GREYHOUND!!!!

Kelsey Born they are racing greyhounds and when they have them as racers, they keep them in little cages and they never do stairs cuz any time they have to go up somewhere, they are given ramps to get up instead of stairs. So they don't even know what stairs are. U have to lift the 70+ pound dog

Hey totally unrelated but Jenna and Julien if you ever see this It’d mean the world to me if you would talk about the special needs of greyhounds. It’s totally not your fault but they are really rapidly gaining popularity after all the celebrity’s that have gotten them and I don’t think people understand the care they need. I volunteer at my local shelter sometimes and it and many others are just getting flooded by abandoned greyhounds because people are getting them because they are cute and trendy and then are not equipped to take care of all there needs at all. They are such special dogs, and I am so worried about this problem. I know you guys care so much about your animals and greyhounds in general and have been incredibly responsible with yours, and I think someone speaking out about this with as much influence as you too could make such a difference. Thanks. 🙏🏻

Hey dink fam! I worked for a pool store for a couple summers with my family and just wanted to know if you guys have looked into a hard cover for your pool? You can remote control pull it on or off but having it on is a peace of mind at night incase the pups or a cat, kid, raccoon...etc wanders into the water, the hard cover will make sure nothing drowns when you both aren’t able to be watching the pool! Just wanted to mention it because I always hated hearing about small animals or even family dogs being found in the water...congrats again on the new space!

I always had small dogs growing up and about 3 years ago I adopted my GSD mix. It's definitely different. One thing I've noticed (and it's not fail, but that's life) is that bigger dogs have less room for mistakes. A growly, angry chihuahua is laughed off, a growly angry German shepherd is a threat. Obviously, bigger dogs = bigger bites. However, I've had so many incidents with off leash little dogs harassing my leashed 80lb dog and the owners just yell "oh, he's friendly!" If my dog were pulling that shit, id be in huge trouble. And now my dog is super reactive around other dogs, so because my neighbors won't train their schnoodledoos or whatever I have even more training to do.... /rant

my shepherd husky mix is the exact same way, and I've had two separate occasions of little dogs running away from their owners to fuck with mine and now I have a hard time bringing her around other dogs. She does fine around our cat though so I know it's not that she's inherently aggressive.

Aina I have had over 24 loose dog incidents. They have all been smaller dogs. People just don't think...or care until their dog gets hurt and then I'm sure it would be my fault somehow. The second incident ended with a shitzu latched on to my dog's face and my fiance lost his thumb nail. But yea, I'm over it. I don't want to watch a dog get hurt by my dog or run over and I'm baffled by owners who think it's cute for their little dog to run into the street in an attempt to fight my 80lb gsd bully mix.

Jenna I totally get what you're talking about with the female athletes not really having a paycheck like their male counterparts. It's totally a reason to support your local WMBA teams or other professional women's athletics teams. Even those professional football players in women's leagues all have day jobs and they practice in crappy facilities or they are pushed into lingerie leagues, which, you know, meh, not my jam but you do you boo.

You should look into rescuing a Spanish Galgo. Long story short, the Roma population uses them for hunting and typically kill them after the hunting season is over. It’s really heartbreaking. I studied in Spain and on my way to Sevilla saw a galgo hung on an overpass. I’ll try to find some links for you!

Yesterday at 2:30am, in emery place, 5 minutes away from my house, a fire broke out. 2 people died, 16 injured, 70 left homeless. So close to where I live... I was in tears. So awfully terrified and shocked. My friends that live in emery place weren’t at school and didn’t pick up their phones and still won’t, I have been in major panic all day and this calmed me down and got me into focus. Thank you guys. And if it’s not to much to ask, is it possible for anyone in the dink fam to look into Lynn valley fire go fund me pages and possibly donate. I’ve got four big dogs(2 Great Danes, Pitt Bull, & Boxer) and I absolutely love it. They are so kind and friendly, when we travel we have a trusted dog sitter that stays at home with them and gives them all the attention they want. It’ll take time to adjust but it would be so worth it.

Okay well now I'm crying because Jenna just talking about her responsibility as a dog mom was so sweet. The love y'all have for animals is one of your best and most endearing qualities. And honestly it's so good to hear someone say that their dogs need to experience and live life AS a dog, and not just live in a human world without any other animals for socialization or companionship. Thank you for just putting that out into the world, and for being such a good example for what having and caring for animals should be.

I've commented this before but honestly, you guys would experience so much joy rescuing a racing greyhound. They are some of the most special and unique dogs out there. My greyhound Mary passed away a few years ago but she brought so much to our family. They are so goofy and the dynamic between a greyhound and the iggys plus Marble will be a sight to see. Once they know that they are here to stay they just open up and will try to sit on your lap like a small dog would (mine did anyways). I have a minpin-mix now and am thinking about adopting another greyhound. They are just such great dogs.
