"These people" are all of us. No one thinks with an internal monologue all the time. There is a thing called instinct and we all have it. I’m a gifted education author and researcher- & although I can’t speak to the savant component, just for your interest in it, Jenna, let me just say that there are multiple theories about intelligence, and, by extension, giftedness. One theory was put forward by Dr. Howard Gardner- the theory of multiple intelligences, which differed from a lot of classic theories because it stepped away from the concept of intelligence as one, general “g”, or general intelligence. Instead, Gardner theorized that there are different forms of intelligence (& giftedness, by extension, though he didn’t mean to lend it to giftedness necessarily). One of those intelligences IS kinesthetic. So you’re correct- someone could be considered to be kinesthetically gifted, but not gifted in other intelligences (such as mathematic/spatial, linguistic, etc.). And there’s no real term for it, to answer your question- you’d just say gifted in the area of “x”. Hope that gives you a nice rabbit hole to fall down. Some of the intelligences he posited are pretty interesting!

Just something to consider: Savants are extremely rare and don’t really represent a huge population in the neurotypical brain community let alone the support needs community. I think that there is a possibility that those who do not have strengths in academics but who do in sports are often encouraged in that because it’s what they are good at. Which might be why we over look that some athletes are not as strong in that language. I don’t think athletic savants are anomaly but I think in reference to savants I think that has to do with more parts of the brain rather than the body. This is a very interesting point. Also while people are socially awkward is doesn’t mean they have a exceptionalities. I love y’all and you make me think!

Jenna’s so energetic because this is the type of stuff she finds invigorating. Ideas about the unknown or unacknowledged possibilities of the universe without falling down the pit of finding their significance, their meaning, or how these ideas could be applied irl. She loves “what if” thoughts but not thinking about applying them to her real life, instead applying them to a hypothetical yet identical (besides the “what if” variation) copy of her life that remains a reality only inside her head. It’s the amazement without the stress or dissatisfaction. I love hearing her ideas and seeing her get so hyped about them!

I feel like if npc's exist, they'd be the people who can never change their thoughts on things. Like those angry people on twitter who will always find something to be angry about, no matter how small it is. And no matter what you say, no matter how respectful you are to them,or even if you make a legitimate point against their argument, they will not accept any of it. They only repeat the exact same argument over and over and over again, often using the exact same or similar wording. It would make sense for a person like that to be an Npc, since they only have a few dialogue options and dont seem to have any sort of life/purpose outside of getting mad about stuff

If you've ever driven a car for a long distance and arrive at your destination without remembering actually thinking about each and every turn you made or signal you gave and seemed to have been in autopilot the entire time, you've experienced this too. "These people" are all of us. No one thinks with an internal monologue all the time. There is a thing called instinct and we all have it. I guess some people are just more aware of theirs than others.

I'm pretty sure I constantly have a running monologue. If I dont remember driving somewhere its because I was thinking about something else. Maybe it's more of a sliding scale kinda thing. I'm on one end and there are people who have no internal dialogue on the other end, with people in between.
