I'm Australian and I've never heard most of the shit. Sandwich is sanga, no one really says cut lunch anymore. We say relo's for relatives! Bonnet is right, ''pop the bonnet mate''. Basically we just cut the word in half and add an 'o' or an 'a' to the end.

We use bugger in Aus too. It technically means anal sex, but it isn't used that way. It's used more like oh shit! you'd say bugger. Or can also be a friendly insult, like "you little bugger" "you cheeky bugger". Bollocks is also used in the same way as oh shit, or bugger.

Same, I was thinking maybe it's specific to certain areas, bugger does not mean that here neither does boiler. Where the fuck are these from? None of them are used anywhere near me or anywhere that I've heard of and the ones I knew had crap definitions. Grass was right and that's the only one I knew.
@TheShinyShow9 жыл бұрын
+NatalieNIM I knew piece (sandwich), boiler (ugly), bugger (it doesn't mean anal sex), stroppy (angry childish type thing), "up the duff" (pregnant, never heard of duff like they had), grass (snide), chat up, trampy (slagish), biscuit, solicitor and bollocks. Charva, deshuffed, duff make no sense to me.
@suchnothing9 жыл бұрын
+EsotericFallacies Bugger does mean anal sex, but it's often not used that way. Usually the way I hear it used is as a general curse (oh, bugger!) or as a way of saying that something bad was done to you (we got totally buggered) and things like that. It's kind of interchangeable with "fuck" or "screwed", and is often used the same way - to fuck or screw means to have sex (in slang terms), but it's more often used to mean other things, like getting "fucked up" or "screwed over" or whatever. A lot of every day curse words have their origins in sexual innuendo. Knackered is another one. It means your exhausted from all the sex you're having, but tends to get used in non-sexual situations more often.

I am British 🇬🇧 Let me educate you 💕💕 We do sometimes use dapper but it’s mainly posh people who use it to describe someone else ahahah We do not use piece. We say lunch or dinner for lunch time We do not say boiler. A boiler is the machine that makes the house warm If we say bugger in Britain it is usually because we aren’t listening. Eg. Bugger lugs. (Lugs is ears) We tell people to bugger off (go away) or a bugger is someone who is annoying Stroppy is mad or in a bad mood. You can also throw a strop which is like have a tantrum We do not use duff for useless crap. We just say it’s rubbish Charva? Never heard of it. We say kids or children Grass would be used as grassed. So you can grass someone up or you get grassed up ahahah Chat up is flirt Dischuffed? We say chuffed for happy or pleased but not dischuffed for unhappy Trampy is looking like a prostitute. Not wearing much clothes and looking like a slut Biscuit is like a cookie in America Solicitor is a lawyer over here but we do say lawyer as well Bollocks is testicles or an exclamation. So like you drop something and say “oh bollocks” Hope you are more educated now 💕🇬🇧
