Hey Alban, I’m brand new to the Podcast world and so grateful to have found your channel. This series has been so helpful!! Wow. I’m wondering, do you have a video on how to use fade to smooth things out? Thank you and I’m excited to join the Buzzsprout community 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

It'll be a bit different depending on which audio editing software you use, but we cover fading in both our GarageBand and Audacity tutorials. GarageBand: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o3K3eIJrlt6lsMU Audacity: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kKicn557fbZoeJo

What would you do if you wanted to live stream the podcast on youtube and then upload it as a podcast on a podcast app or something like that?
@Buzzsprout4 жыл бұрын
Use a screen recording software like Screenflow or Quicktime to record your computer's audio while you do the livestream. Then upload that audio file to your podcast

Hey, did Cyber Motherboard have to buy the rights to use sound from War Games? Fair Use? How does that work?
@Buzzsprout5 жыл бұрын
We're not entirely sure. It's possible they're using it under "fair use" and hoping they don't get dinged for it. We typically encourage podcasters to stay far away from anything that might even potentially get you into trouble

On Audiojungle a "Music Standard License" is enough to use as intro/backgroung music on a podcast? or do you need the Broadcast License? the price of just 7$ jumps to 99$ from one license to the other and honestly they're License agreement is a bit confusing about how Podcasts fit in since they talk about since they talk about "broadcast is not allowed" on the basic music license. $99 dolars is a bit expensive I guess for someone willing to start a podcast...
@Buzzsprout4 жыл бұрын
The best thing to do is send an email to their support team letting them know how you want to use the music track and ask them which license they recommend.

Can you do a video on how publishing works please? Like how do I plan to release my Podcast episode or a song on a specific date at a specific time? From what I've been hearing, it can take up to 72 hours for it to be added!?!? I'm new to all this. Thanks!
@bendavis49485 жыл бұрын
Like if I planned it to be released on a Tuesday at 6pm, how do I know it's going to actually be released on that exact date and time?
@Buzzsprout5 жыл бұрын
@@bendavis4948 You can upload an episode and schedule it to be released at a specific time in Buzzsprout. We talk a bit more about this in video 8. If you aren't in the podcast directories then we'd recommend releasing a trailer so that you can get approved before your official "release date."

Hey Ben, 72 hours seems like a bit of a stretch. Maybe for the first episode, but not normally. For me, places not named Apple and Google were up fairly quickly. 15-30 minutes. Apple was usually around an hour and Google took forever. I would manually force an update before waiting for them to do it. I release a podcast every friday and I schedule it to be released Friday at 3 AM. It's always available for everyone by morning commute time.

Newbie here. I'd like to add a podcast to my KZbin channel. I've followed a podcast that just had a static screen the entire time. I assumed it was saved as a video file. Any harm in doing this? To me, it seems the simplest way way to start but am I hurting my podcast potential by starting this way? I have a very targeted audience. For now, I want to be behind the scenes. In the future, face time with interviews. Thank you, Vickie

In Audiojungle, the Standard License says *No* *Broadcast* *Use* For Music Broadcast, it says *Up* *to* *1* *million* *broadcast* *audience* for $100. Would that leave you in legal trouble if you reach over 1 million downloads and forget to buy another license?

OK, I will admit it. I am lost a bit. I feel that step 5 is my issue. My undoing is that I cannot find an exact process on how to edit episodes. I am totally lost. Talked to two people, started off with one program, then switched to another. I watched thousands of tutorials and I am getting more confused. One guy says the mike should be up to 2 inches, the other guy states 30 cm. I will try your way, but honestly I am very disheartened at this stage. One person states do the normalization first, the other one last. Brutally confused to the stage of which I might just start paying someone to just bloody teach me. I will watch all of your videos as well. Hopefully I will find some clarity. At least I am not missing the first four steps. Cannot hide my utter frustration of people who say well just plug this and that and go to the Internet to see how it works,so you are confused as fuck. Some people are not born knowing what the F a single band compressor is. I am now following your tips, after watching a person's 48588686 videos of following fucking different thing every single time.
