如果是單口喜劇粉的人一定對於Nigel Ng和他扮演的角色Uncle Roger不陌生！
從他爆紅的BBC炒飯影片，到後來因為一直嗆Gordon Ramsay(戈登)反而促成了兩個人合拍影片的機會
到去年一支開中共和臺灣政治關係玩笑的影片在網路上廣為流傳，而在臺灣擄獲了一大票粉絲
我開始做podcast就是希望有一天可以有機會訪問到Nigel，
很開心這次有機會可以邀請到他坐下來聊一聊
雖然我一樣又收尾收得很尷尬🤣但...這就是最真實的樣子吧

确实Authority这个词原本应该是指有主导性或者自主性的权力/资格意思，是后来因为官员们往往对某些事情具备主导性的权力，所以人们才会把地方官员official/officer或者相关单位，说成是Local Authority 之类的用法，因为这些官员对当地的某些官方事项有主导性的权力。 对于不常说英语的人会把Authority直接翻译成官员，而忽略了Authority这个词在该语境下是指其原本关于权力或者资格的意思，也不奇怪。

That's how we Malaysian grew up, we could switch between "channels" which we used different accent to speak with different different groups of people as we were raised in a very diversify society, some of us speaks English at work, Hokkien at home, Cantonese with closed friends, and mandarin with your "chinese speaking" only friend... and we just want to emphasize that to the TW audience that, we learn simplified chinese in "chinese school", we understand 繁體中文，我们只是比较习惯用简体来书写, thanks and you are welcome :)

​@@veenykonn多是馬來西亞的印度人在吃，尤其是老一輩的印度人，男女皆有。我自小看到大。我住的地區附近是芭場(油棕園丶橡膠園丶咖啡圍)，念書的鎮上常見三大種族出來辦事。有印度人區域，馬來人專住的區域，也有華人園主居住在芭場或鎮上的區域。甚至出了社會工作，在吉隆坡也親眼見過一些老一輩的印度人，男女皆有，都有吃檳榔的習慣，還隨地吐紅汁。但這都已經是三丶四十年前的事與場境了。😂😂😂😂😂

Malaysian and Nigel's fan here. Listening to Nigel's interview has leave a bad taste in my mouth. In the interview he basically admitted that he orchestrated his own China social media ban to appease the western aligned audience, he knew full well that Chinese social media and public will not receive his Taiwan Joke well but he still do it for the sake of views and money. He basically willing to betray his fans, which in this case are Chinese in order to gain fame and wealth. This has bring out another issues, does that mean that he is willing to betray his fans if which ever opposite side offers him more fame and wealth. Along his 4 to 5 years of fame, he had involved in a few controversies, ukraine date and cambodia cuisine are few of them. However despite acting stoic against criticism that saying he is not going to apologize, claiming he is comedian who don't do self censor, he had done damage control to prevent the negative publicity affected him. He deleted his ukraine date tweet to prevent the spread and admitted in few interviews that he had made dumb mistake by saying that, cambodia cuisine case he had made a video with cambodia chef and praise their food. In contrast he double down on pushing the Chinese redline, never trying to do any damge control, he almost always talk about negative things about China and be very proud of him selves. Does it mean that he will do the opposite if someway down the line the Chinese has more influence that the west? He will make jokes on the previous thai king, make jokes about insensitive joke about malaysian racial issue or make jokes about palestine israel issue if he can gain more fame out of it?
