@@ScarletDream21 they attack well. High iq plays it seems. Good size, good athleticism and pace by both, also have different paces. NBA trainers develop decent % threes quickly for most players. He’ll be sufficient enough, especially in a year or two. Me? I’d want Clingin if he falls to four, bu lt Devin Carter is my #1 then castle to then as well. Or reed shepherd.

Hes insane cant lie. He was doing all this with bo good pg or players gettin him the ball. Was just trying stuff. Last 5 games show you enough he blocks, shoots, and scores at a high level. Has fight in him too. They gotta get him a better team sooner than later. 21 10 4 and 3.6 blocks first year is insane. Even the fact that he averaged that many assists with what he has on his team is scary to think about. With decent teammates he could averagehave multipls a quadruple double. He had 9 blocks, 7 and 7 in his last 5 games thats nuts

A trade isn't as viable an option as people seem to think. The Spurs roster isn't deep enough to make trades that don't cripple them further, especially if they're also giving away picks to compensate for whoever they're sending out in a trade. They need to go through this draft and the next just to have enough talent to start making moves that aren't 2 steps forward 1.5 steps back.

I’ve been saying this for the longest. What Victor needs is an elite rebounding enforcer that can spread the floor at the four or five so he can take pressure off of Victor. A Dennis Rodman, Draymond Green, Al Horford mix. As well as a pure point guard mid range specialist. Somebody kinda like Jamal Murray, CP3 type mix. And they need some big body wings. Big body athletic wings so that they can pick and roll with wemby as the ball handler seeing he likes to shoot off dribble. I also would focus on getting long wingspan players. Victor has an 8 foot wingspan and if they can have four other players with like 6”7 + wing spans the defense would be terrible lol

I think the Spurs need to take Wemby's first 4 years to try and find a few pivotal young pieces to keep around for the long haul. Building a dynasty takes time, and usually comes through the draft. Hopefully the Spurs can get at least 2 other guys that compliment Wemby well. After that they need to be pushing to make the best team they can around Wemby. Him working with Jamal is awesome though. I can't wait to see how tgat pans out

Spurs been experimenting early int he season as they went to play sochan at point and Wemby at PF. which turned out ridiculous and did not end well for them but later mid season they put Wemby on C and tre PG thats where it turned out good for them.

Since he has a 4 year contract I think the Spurs is a great foundation to develop his skills even further. Coming into the NBA, Wemby has a head start to any other rookie that hasn't already played professional. Remember he got 3 years in his pocket playing in Europe. 3 years will fly by and when his contract ends he will be a beast to join a more advanced team like Lakers, Bulls, Celtics, Warriors

I think isntead of giving wemby a super star, it would be better to give him better role players that can support him and take some pressure on to him because right now if they gave him a player like tre young all teams would have to do is attack wemby and tre becasue the other players arent seen as threats at all right now. It would also be good to have a star point tho because we still need better ball movement since this season wemby was forced to make plays by himself and take low% shots. overall they should probably put their focus on getting a star point and excellent roles/ low level star players that can help take pressure off wemby and be able to hit shots when wemby is being doubled etc

The spurs need a true #2 scorer preferably a PG. Two 3&D wings. A defensive/rebounding center. Keep Vassell, Johnson, Branham, Jones and Collins release the rest. They have 4 first round picks including their own, Charlotte, Chicago and Atlanta. All 4 should be lottery picks in a great 2025 draft. Next years free agency they’ll have cap space in a great free agent class too. As long as they stay patient. The Spurs are in position to contend in 25-26.

Its just vets and guys that can defend when he sits. Zach collins and Branham (bench guys) were the worst defenders last season and gave up any lead or momentum when he sat. Tre jones is actually fine as a PG. all those clips of him being open were early in the year when sochan was PG. Vassel is a great #2 right now. They just need vets and role players. They were the youngest team in the league
