Thank you! 😊 I've been quilting for 30+ years. Quilting on the frame for about 11 years. My set up is not impressive like yours. I use a very basic midarm machine. It's almost embarrassing to show. But she and I have a good relationship. I understand her after all these years. I might show her someday just for a little shock value. Y'all won't believe your eyes!😂

@@podunkpretties - I would love to see your girl! I’ve seen some other Longarms that make mine look like kindergarten but… I would love to see your quilting style. I Hand quilted almost everything until I got my Longarm.

Thank you for suggesting to quilt thru the labels. Have seen quilts in thrift shops with the labels removed, and it breaks my heart!

Awesome tutorial. Was so informative. Thank you so much. Really enjoyed it. I just made a label for my niece’s baby’s rag quilt. I usually double it so you can’t see through it but this would be so much easier. I never thought of putting a nice little edging all around it or even the heart, so so nice. Thanks again. Really enjoyed it.

I watched someone that said when she had real small blocks, she would start sewing a couple of stitches in stitch a couple, then backstitch to the end of fabric and start forward again. The fabric usually will not bunch/get eaten I have not tried it but intend too. Enjoying your tutorials.

Wonderful! Thanks for watching. Adding a label is one of the hardest things for me to remember to do in quilting. It's a good way to put a little history on the quilt so maybe they won't be thrown in the trash someday.

Hi there, I was just going to print your printable information sheet but it doesn’t seem to exist anymore. What am I doing wrong? I’ll try to copy the information down myself, but I love how yours looks and it’s more professional than I can do. Thank you. Love your labels and your little kit you made up. I plan on doing the same. Brilliant idea…thank you so much.

Very helpful video! Rather than the freezer paper template, you might enjoy using a “hot hem ruler”. You put it on the wrong side of the fabric and fold fabric over and press on the ruler. It has measurements too so you can fold up exactly 1/4”, 1/2” etc. could cut out the freezer paper step. But-if using the freezer paper, I’d suggest keeping it on the fabric while writing on it and pull it off after! It gives a sturdy backing to write on :)

i like the freezer paper because it stabilizes the fabric.

Thank you for your helpful hints and ideas. However, I’d really like to see you close your rotary cutter after you use it, and not be moving your fabric, ruler, etc around with that razor sharp blade open. Don’t want you to get hurt and not be able to share your knowledge. 😘
