For anyone that this might concern, I am primarily playing Poe 2 on PS5. However, I picked up a copy on steam as well. In december I linked my console and PC. To get filters to work, I had to get the filters downloaded on both accounts. This was accomplished by simply switching in the drop down between the two, and following the same filters. Thank you.

PSA if your like me and it just wasn’t working no matter what you tried. I finally got it working. The FiX: Download POE1, load it up, go to options and all the filters I have been following were there on POE1, so once that was working you go back to POE2, follow the process in this video. Important*** if you have more than one account at the top of your screen for login you have to do the entire process on both accounts, only then did it work

For those that are on console, make sure that you are playing on a character to select you loot filter. Select loot filter doesn’t work if the setting is done from the game screen menu

Thank you for the info, worked well on the PS5…. Was also able to access the website thru the icon right next to the item filter, the globe icon…. That takes us direct to the PoE page to log on …. In case someone still trying to open a browser on the PS5…. Sony doesn’t like browsers in the system sadly…. Hope that helps 😅

I had the same issue and what finally fixed it for me was downloading POE1 and starting it, loading a filter there and then starting POE2 afterwards - no idea why this worked 😅 someone on the forums apparently mentioned it

EDIT!: For anybody that has the same problem. Pick your character and as soon as you’re on the beach you will be able to select your followed loot filter. Thank you for the other comments that pointed that out The problem i’m having as an Xbox player is that i’ve done this step by step on both the xbox and the internet browser on my phone and no loot filter is appearing in the drop down box to select a filter. I’ve tried logging in and out of the POE site / unfollowing and following filters, restarted my xbox, opened others games and cane back to POE as some have suggested and nothing. No filters appear in the drop down box for me

You have to select your character first. It doesn't work at the Start Up screen. I really wish I called that out but I guess I figured players would login to their character first anyways by default and then select their filter. I'm finding out people are trying to access their filters before selecting their character so to them it doesn't work. Miss on my part.

@oxfordking I realized that’s what I had to do after seeing one of your replies on another comment. I was under my own assumption that you would be able to set up the loot filter in the main menu as if you were adjusting game settings before actually starting the game. It never dawned on me to pick a character and start the game first for it to work. But thank you for the video and replies! It helped!

same ... working now finally. It is confusing because linking the correct Sony account to the correct GGG account , was my issue. It just defaults, and not easy to distinguish which account is liked to what? Royal pain in the A$$. If only GGG could just implement this in game.

I think loot filters will be in game at some point or at least more streamlined for Console player's. Jonathan mentioned this is on their ToDo list. Not sure on trading.

@@oxfordkingnono, I fixed it, it was cos of the cache files, I just played another game for 10mins and cleared the data, after that the filter worked

i'm on ps5 and it didn't work for me. i uninstalled the game and reinstalled. then back to options and choose item filter again (it defaulted back to none), i had to change another setting in order to be able to save changes, so i increased ui brightness a smidge (can probably be whatever) then i disabled and enabled 'toggle label visibility, and now it's working for me, hope this might help someone else out, good luck!

First of all thanks for the video. Im playing on ps5. So i followed 3 loot filters. Loaded the game, the 3 filters are showing in the game options. I chose 1 and saved... But the item drops are still not highlighted. Not sure if i missed something...😢 One thing i noticed is.. when i save after choosing a filter, i dont have a confirmation log like the one u have @11:34.

I've tried unfollowing them and refollowing from the website in game on my PS5. They are in my options menu but they don't actually filter anything. It sucks

@ yeap. in advance make sure your ps5 account link poe2 , follow the loot filter copy and back to game check the filter loot on options if you don’t see it, just turn on another game then turn it off back to poe2
