Someone like Mathil or Ziz clear 100 grand a year from let's be honest, almost entirely PoE. PoE 2 should be bigger, so considering sponsorship revenue should match any low to mid tier job revenue in the west.

In my humble opinion, I think that it is a risky move if it is just PoE1… with the plan to alternate leagues between 1 & 2… there should be content to do PoE1&2 full time (at least for the 6 months to a year.. until official launch of 2). Always a risk of a bad league like kalandra … but I am confident that GGG made PoE2 the best ARPG out there. 🤞🏻

poe 1 lacks content outside of guides. Sometimes I just want to watch people rant and blast maps instead of explaining their whole build to me. hopefully with poe 2 we get some more content like that.

Gz on the deal! What should we expect from you coming into full time PoE2? Livestream focused or YT aswell? Are you going to focus more on videos like Zizaran (mix of gameplay + guides), more like Empy (Cuts from streams into a video recap of the few days?), or more like Spicysushi (Crafting guides oriented)? Should we expect a mix of everything? I know it's probably hard for you to tell since it's so early and new to you, take the time you need to focus on a recipe that you enjoy and that works for you! I'm really excited for you and hope you make it!

It is a bit tricky to say for certain but I intend to release a lot of guides that really cover the foundations of the game well initially. I feel like there's a bit of a gap in the PoE space for truly good beginner focused content. But I'd also like to do some stream highlights and more high-level guides and crafting for sure!

I think it depends on where you live in terms of the cost of living and value of your career. you can be a content creator for part time or full time .. but i'd still wait for a big decision if it costs a lot.

YOLO! Don't mind the over-advertised games - just stay away from NFTs, RMT, etc. Regarding guides in general (written or not): please put more focus/emphasis on mechanics, than simply build guides. I think the (forever?) lost art of build crafting is something worth reviving in PoE2.

Nah there won't be character customisation. I know this is a polarising issue for folks but I'm glad there isn't. The way I think of it: I like playing THE Witch, not just A Witch. The characters being locked means they can have richer backstories instead of being just another hero from another distant land. What's the appeal of customisation? I'm asking to learn why so many people want it so badly

I think it's an MMO thing. I feel like it's kind of pointless when you never see your character after equipping gear in an arpg. Though I don't like playing as the bulky character models so picking male or female for each would appeal to me.
