On mid to high end pc i have a load when i open the world map but not for inventory...and i only get the load screen once per zone if i open the map.

Gearing/crafting is in a HORRID state. An immediate 30% fix would be to make an orb that removed runes and cores from sockets, even if it meant losing that socketable. Not being able to swap out runes for resistance fixing is AWFUL. That aside. Crafting is dead. Took 3 days to find 32 weapons worth of crafting. Used transmutation, augmentation, regal on everything Got 2 items with 2 decent mods Exalt slammed them dead Reforged ALL items 3 to 1 Got another 2 items with 2 good mods, used 3 chaos to reroll and bricked them. Reforged 8 more rounds with 0 usable items. Getting 1 nonusable essence every 20 maps No fossil crafting No bench No harvest No metabench crafting Mapping literally only to buy half decent gear with the few exalt that do drop is horrendous. All this after ascendancy power gated behind 2 awful mechanics for melee, even with the patch.

Bruh it's horrible. One of my work buddies got so tired of everything and spent like $12 on 100 Exalts and burned through maps after buying solid gear. GGG NEEDS to overhaul crafting bad. There's literally no point to it right now.

Armor explosion got nerfed, my build does not work anymore :( i used to nuke bosses by hitting shieldwall with auto attack for chain armor explosion and follow it up with sunder. For clear it was a simple mace strike or two to clear half of the screen

Yup. I rolled Sorc on launch. Got to level 71 with CoF. Build was essentially removed from the game. Rerolled Warrior armor break stampede explosions. Didn't realize it was a bug that made the build work. Got to level 71. Build feels so fucking bad now post nerf. Stampede runs into the first enemy and bounces off at a like 130 degree angle and maybe 3 enemies from the pack die

the interaction of armour explosion with inanimate objects and self proccing was very obviously not intended. it sucks, but that's what early access is for. there are still other options for triggering explosions as a warrior. at least now it's significantly less expensive to respec.

The Freeze Buildup change is gonna fuck my Icenova Frostbolt sorc so hard it's not even funny I already had trouble freezing mobs more than once felt like the freeze buildup was already getting lower and lower but they increased the decrease even more my builds just dead. Unless I can insta kill shit with 1 freeze at which point building freeze chance would become irrelevant anyways and I may as well just skip it which in turn would mean I could just skip cold skills altogether since their only benefit is freezing stuff giving you more safety. So what I got from the Patchnotes was throw out cold skills and just play spark spam covering everything in projectiles like everybody else build diversity seems awesome in poe 2 xD NOT really.

Wouldn't have said it better... I feel exactly the same... Cold was busted because of comete + CoF, it got not only nerfed, but totally killed with the overnerfed CoF, and then, the only cool effect that remained which was the ability to freeze just got destroyed to... So now we can't deal damage as pure Cold build because spell damage are trash, and we can't even CC anymore... My love for this game has quickly gone down...

Massive buff for my build, finally I feel like I am in the endgame with my power charge generation and clear speed. I attempted a blind 3 trial sanctum today and almost got it 1st try but scorpion killed me but it was a fun kind of fail, because it felt like I could have played better and would have won and would definitely have won if I watched a video. Overall very positive on the update, tho I had to shift half a tree around, and again with the respec buff it wasn't a problem. Game became an instant 8/10 from a 7 it was for me at launch. Probably on its way to a 10 over the early access period.

Looking through comments, it feels like people are a bit too eager to pick popular broken/ish builds for early stage of early access and then complain things break in the closest patch... Well, it is pretty much the reason why I decided to pass by early access. I fully expected for things to change suddenly, which would make it very hard to plan a build.

it's really not hard if you can think for yourself haha, poe2 is relatively simple compared to its predecessor, and I'm sure even new players could make their own builds and dodge all of the nerfs. if you're copying an obviously broken build you kinda deserve it xD

Idk maybe these changes are for early/mid gameplay but after putting my gear together for sacrifice minion DD, these changes really don’t do anything. Juicing waystones and looking for towers on the map feels really bad. I really want to progress my expedition tree but can’t because log books are so scarce. Same with deli/breach splinters. Now items are so expensive and I’m so behind on my league-content passive trees that I don’t think I’ll ever catch up. If i wanted to accelerate my content trees by buying things off MP I have to sacrifice my currency on that instead of gear. Idk if it’s even fixable, I can’t think of anything other than more quests for each mechanic which sounds scuffed.

Great addition this patch, even though some build were bricked. I was leveling a merc which is at level 60. Wanted to experience the campain a bit more so leveling a ranger now with LA. Both did'nt get nerfed so far, so I will bring them both to maps during christmass and new year break from work :).

@@SeeThat92 you still can do it in T15s juiced maps, but it no longer has the chain explosion across the screen despite my titan having 5m explode radius, it feels a lot slower to what it was before so each pack needs stampede. Might need to go back to volcanic blast

@ minions aren’t spawning in with weapons that say +4 Warrior Skeletons for example. Also a few maps your main bone ability that raises dead bodies into skeletal scorpions isn’t working either. Thousands of people have brought this up so far.

This game is amazing for where it's at in development. I don't see how anyone could say it's not. Like, it's early access, not well balanced, missing half the content, much more, and better than almost every game in the genre already. Only ARPG better is PoE 1 and D2R in my terrible opinion, and I firmly believe it will far surpass both of those by the time of full release, and I can't even imagine how good this will be after 5 years of leagues with new content and refinement of systems and mechanics.

Alot of people seem upset with there build, well id suggest dont follow a build guide you wont learn a thing. Build your own its way more fun and you wont die as much. With respec being dead cheap now its the best time to start playing your own characters instead of playing somebody else's.

It also doesn't take much time to go "dang I need more mana to spam" and then try to solve an issue in your build while you play. The game is designed, literally made from the ground up, to throw morsels of power at you. It's up to you to realize how abundant they are, not a guide. If you really thought your own time was precious you would use it to make an original thought. Try reading a guide on how to make a KZbin comment next time

It's very hard to get everything right because your playing of peoples preferences to your own and on multiple different ranges of power. They'll figure something out. If you like you can scale back some damage for utility and that might balance it abit more to your tastes and cut out on something you find annoying like mana management.
