the "warlords mark + stun enemies on full life tincture" combo might be bait! there's no way to guarantee the mark will auto-cast on an enemy with full life. might be an L strat imo. the stun enemies on full life tincture will still be good for mapping for the trauma explosion procs, though. and then you'd swap tincture to culling strike one for bosses. hopefully they reveal some more cool tinctures!

Barkskin is some reservation skill that stacks up similarly to the roots and w/e, it gives you armor per stack, when you lose stacks you gain evasion, this might be fake news but that's what i have heard about it.

Complex trauma is very interesting for scaling. Awakened Multistrike for example would be amazing for it. In effect it gives you less trauma, but more attack speed and overall damage. We have to see how we can optimize the build by keeping the tools that actually give us damage. I am hoping we can keep ancestral protector and use an anoint that is actually useful, while using a weapon with less attack speed and more damage.

I think with Complex Trauma, you'd want closer to 4.7 Attack speed (in your example), because you want to be just short of being able to reach 10 stacks (which would be 4.78). This gives you much better 9 stack sustain, and also a bit better attack speed.

yea I think just as high as possible without reseting. Although I don't know if you would ever have the damage of 9 stacks, because you always lose the 9th stack, before attacking again. Just depens if Boneshatter calculates the damage before, or after applying the trauma from the attack.

As people already mentioned, Multistrike might be a good idea. However, it might be a bit tricky to work out. Some examples: Normal Trauma duration (6s): 3*10/6 = 5 aps => slightly less than 5 aps to sustain 9 Stacks Less duration Support (no quality): 3*10/(6*0.51) = 9.8 aps => slightly less than 9.8 aps to sustain 9 Stacks "Window of Opportunity" Anoint (15% reduced duration): 3*10/(6*0.85) = 5.88 => slightly less than 5.88 aps to sustain 9 Stacks With Multistrike socketed, my Boneshatter POB is at *7.9 APS, or *9.36 by also adding faster attacks. *This is with Adrenaline and Onslaught from Tanu Ahi, so probably not a realistic number for SSF. Less Duration might therefore work without sacrificing too much efficiency. However, it allocates 3 support gems (Less duration, Multistrike, and Faster Attacks), so we're probably locked into Fortify on the tree and removing a 45+% more Support gem or Ruthless support (which then locks you into an attack mastery for intimidation, and removes the amazing utility of Ruthless support). 5.88 aps on the other hand is very low for Multistrike, and kind of defeats the purpose of using it.

Better ramp time might be worth lower max damage also on bosse where you cant face tank or have to move. This probably requires some actual game testing since real dps uptime is so difficult to account for in POB

I am guessing Multistrike is a better solution to make Complex Trauma work. As you are clearing a map, leap slamming between packs, you will probably be naturally floating around 7-9 trauma stacks. Then when you need to beat on a single target, you only gain trauma (and take damage) on every 3rd (or 4th with Awakened MS) attack. You get to use a high damage support gem rather than Less Duration, keep a better anoint, make use of both totems, and take less self damage.

Well if you check out the patch notes, the now "normal" gem gives 0-1% more damage per trauma compared to the complex one being 20% more damage per trauma.

Something about Complex Trauma is the 9 stack self damage is low enough that we can look at ascendancies beyond Jugg/Slayer. I’m really interested in seeing how far people can take BS with divergent gone. Hopefully the availability on complex is better.

It could be that quality is eg giving 0.01 range per point (0.2m on tooltip with 20%). If it would be 1% more per quality then it would be worthless at the begining whih is unusual design.

Even 40% spell suppression is really good, if you can get 1-2 T1 rolls on helmet/gloves or boots it could take you over 50%. I'm planning on getting close to 80 all res, but I play softcore so doesn't quite matter as much for me.

Yeah ok, I was under the impression that with suppression you want 100% or nothing cause then you leaving holes for one shots. Currently got 81/80/80 res and -50% shock effect

As a new player i tried Bonezone Jugg once and had huge problems with dex while leveling. Even using gems like Faster attack or volley for spectral throw was a problem. Since Im using Lapis Amulet for Frostblink i always have problems with dex on jugg. Do i have to use Versatility early on, or is there any other way around this? Still confusing for me :D apart from that, i really liked that video, helped me out a lot

You can use citrine, and craft dex on items from crafting bench in hideout, also spec temporary +30

Boneshatter definitely feels much much better than a channeling skill, and it's tankier for doing ultimatum. Jungroan also uploaded his endgame showcase for vaal flameblast if you haven't seen it, I suggest you take a look at that video and imagine trying to accumulate some initial currency on that build in the early league.

For sure it can, I got 4 voidstones the last 4 leagues with boneshatter. It’s not free (ull need decent mechanics and gear crafting) but it is for sure doable
