I think I am going to star Kinetic Bolt Trickster this league. It carried me to reds last league, but struggled on single target. It should be better this league though with the improved base types, percent damage increases, and base attack speed increases. Wish me luck boys.

Yand stands and other ward buffs are good reasons to nearf nightgrip and Olroth. Nightgrip was the best item in the game for stacking flat damage. Olroth is the best defencive item in the entire game. But 85% reduced is a lot, but hopfuly we can reach around 1500-2000 ward with it up.

I don't know why Phys Dot Reap/Exsang caught so many strays? One of the Life Cost reduction clusters was taken away entirely, Glad no longer has +20 Damage over Time multiplier for Champion OR Scion to use, added damage effectiveness nerfed for gem level 1-19 for reasons. I guess more Impale Effect on tree is good for Crit Reap with Entropic Devastation, but like, just make Blood spells inflict Bleed already.

would be nice if they had also addressed the cast on death bullshit. honestly, at this point mobs are more dangerous dead than alive...

I must say the league does look interesting. I'm not sure if I'm been as hyped about a league as this one in looong time. So many interesting things in form of a metagame. I hope it's not a dud. I love management games so that might be one reason. I just wish there will be some depth to it rather than being "one strategy is the best" type of deal.

I wonder how significant will the ward buffs be in game, as this mechanic has the potential to create invulnerability. Looking forward to test this with some experimental builds :)

The currency market is the change that will save me the most time, but I am concerned about low tier currency inflating the cost of items.

I would love for them to implement a lock on the items that you list on the trade market, that way price fixers cant try and do janky things like listing and having a bot that immediately cancels it, over and over to perhaps make it look like the price is different than what it should actually be going for. Im not sure that will be a problem, but the scammers always find a way. So if you list an item you cannot remove it from being listed for at least like 1 minute. Theres the flip side where people accidently list something incorrectly and are extremely punished.. I just hope they have "levers", as they call it, they can pull if people are finding a way to abuse or price fix the trade market. I'm generally very excited for this league. Less about the league mechanic.. I hope it doesnt feel like a mobile game. But more about just the general game and everything thats changed, big W imo.. at least at first glance 😅

The market price is just a general value, you don't have to abide by it whatsoever. No one should be able to cheese that because anyone savvy enough can look up poe awakened trade price for current listings, assuming that these trades are being used as an in game ui for the trade site's API.

Bruh D4 expansion be like yo, we added a new class and a couple of quests that we have been working on for 1.5 years gimme $40-$90. Poe league be like yo, we have all these new trade and city management and resource collection incentives with new and returning crafting mechanics and class reworks and new types of skills and and and it's only $0.00.

I'm going to say what I said last league and I was right then and I hope I'm wrong now... this is going to a bad league. People will lurk around to try the changes but it seems that many will lose interest really fast.

on the negative side: champions are dead everything rage related is dead warcries, with the exception of general's cry, are all dead. defensive auras now are pretty much exclusive to builds that stack their defensive stat, and wont offer much as that extra defensive layer. juggernaught got nerfed. pretty much every spell will start weaker. vortex is dead frost blades are weaker earlier on(they do seem stronger late game). rip earthbreaker support. when a league finally buffed melee, and would give it an actual utility. rip tawhoa. nobody liked you. chieftains are still only 2-3 great nodes, and a bunch of useless crap. warden looks too convoluted.

This is a slight degression but I really am sick and tired of the massive instability and bugs that always seems to occur when a new significant patch comes out. I've crashed at least half a dozen times since the patch from today and I'm hitting delve nodes that never end even after all the mobs have been killed. I really wish this company would show a little bit more commitment to quality control.
