I used that until 70, then ran a 5 way and changed to MS at 90. I hope that helps.

Why go with Slower Proj instead of Faster?

Slower Projectiles: For bossing...faster would be for clearing. Right now, I don't really map on this toon...i just kill bosses. Here are the reasons why: Increased Hit Density: By slowing down the magma projectiles, they tend to cluster closer together, hitting the same target multiple times more reliably, especially beneficial for single-target damage. Reduced Range: The magma balls have a shorter travel distance before dispersing, focusing more damage on enemies that are closer. Higher Overall DPS: Since Molten Strike’s projectiles deal damage on impact, more projectiles hitting a single target increases your overall damage output against that target.
