Pretty crazy results for investing ~3c into a map. Maybe a bit lucky with the 2 key drops (I opened them and got trash ofc) but even without those it's 66+ chaos per map profit. I'm going to run a slightly more investment version of this strategy to compare (same atlas but no Stream of Consciousness). Thanks for watching!

I can highly recommend wandering path + growing hordes + red altar/harvest/delirium u just use 4 rusted scarabs and a pack size sexant. Only 5c investment + map per run, but 120c profit per map on average

Stream of Consciousness is such a strong atlas node for Alch & Go with no scarab or any sexant juice. I block all the mechanic i dont want and only open for harvest( just for my own crafting juice) and expedition, and took all the expedition node, almost 2 expedition spawn in 3 map everytime I run the map. Literally free logbook/coins.

It's only +4% for most mechanics. Nothing crazy. I would suggest to check sacrifice fragments for free 15-20% quant, especially for expedition and harvest. It's not alch & go anymore, but you can easily buy it in bulk for pennies and managing fragments every 10 maps is acceptable for me.

In extension to Mac's response, rusted expedition scarabs are 1 chaos each. And they are extremely easy to buy in bulk. That an insanely low investment for the guaranteed encounter. And it frees up points in the atlas passive tree. That's a bear minimum recommendation if you insist on doing low investment imo. Yes you lose 4% harvest chance, but guaranteed expedition makes up for it.

did 1 div worth of alc and go t16 strands with nothing but essence atlas mod and nodes, and came out with 5div profit from just essences, along with the other drops i got it came out to like 10 div for 2-3 hours of total work. for a casual player it's pretty good.

I did this repeatedly last league but I tossed Red beasts in there. Sometimes I got lucky and got 4-6 beasts worth 1.2+ Divs on top of multi div Essence tabs.

One of the big things that you're missing is that you're calculating div/h not including trades for this, but are including TWO cuts for a trader in your group play number. Your group would have been at ~9 div/h without a trader factored in.

I think the build is carrying this method hard, but that's only for the farming part. The selling part is going to be infinitely more painful. Harvest, on the other hand, is just a honeymoon. You bundle up all those juices for 10 divs and it's gonna be gone in like 2 seconds after the trade API got updated. Shit sells like crack cocaine.

Alch and Go is definitely in the best state ever. I personally run a little bit more investment but a fun one. I run Expedition + Harvest (block everything else) with Gilded Expedition Scarab, Polished Cartography, Runic Sextant, Pack Size in Unid Maps Sextant (Very underrated, use when you have 4 Unid maps), Magic Pack Size. Not too high investment and makes a lot back!

I have had that essence bug since like two leagues ago already. Sometimes it just happens, I think a possible fix is if you go in and out from the instance (basically just waste a portal) will fix it, even going into harvest works. IDK why that happens, the game is janky sometimes. Also it's not a 0 essence mob, it can literally be a 8 essence and you wouldn't know, I got bonked by one before.

It's very hard to move all the various 1c fossils and stuff like that, which also severely impacts how much *actual* currency you get from maps. If you remove all the stuff that's difficult to actualize the currency out of, you'll get a more realistic view of what players are actually getting out of the alch and go strategy. Your obtainable, actualized value is probably a third of what you're actually seeing because you're realistically not going to sit in your hideout to sell 1 abberant fossil, 2 screaming essences, and 4 scarabs. EDIT: That's the difference between juiced maps and alch-and-go. In a juiced map, your drops are bigger and easier to move.

If you ever are actually concerned about an essence the is missing the menu, going into an arena or harvest will fix it I believe. I got it to fix itself one time

Players will always find work arounds to buggy representations like that... but if that same essence was 99x Essence of Horror due to a bug and Empy looted it and took that... Potential Ban because the Devs can't pay attention to detail like they should. Their job is to make the game immersive and not distract you from the game itself by representing something bogues that ends up making you happy then depression because account banned.

Could you explain, how do you _subtract_ investment when calculating profits by putting it into the tab that's going to get _added_ up in excellence? So far it looks to me like you erroneously add map/mats cost to your profits twice. Once by not subtracting them (effectively an addition), and a second time by adding them during the excellence calc. Clearly I'm misunderstanding something, could you please clarify?

no offense, but i honestly think this tree is pretty bizarre. slapping legion on an alch-and-go strat, particularly without the duration/increased damage taken wheel, is going to be unrealistic to full clear for most players that would be interested in a strat like this. i think it would've been wiser to spec into altars and something like harvest or harbi, or even go for maven and go all in on speed farming, which would be much more realistic and approachable strategies. i know it's too late now, but i wanted to leave feedback in case you do something similar in the future.

I will say you can make bank on just alc and go, I remember when I started in delve league how much less you got from alc and go. That being said I feel as if this video is him trying to prove group play isn't OP. "The 5-7 div an hour" per member that he mentioned was a bit of a misnomer. That was around league start with different pricing. For roughly 2 mirrors at today's prices you would have to play 200 hours all gas no breaks with 4 div per hour. To be fair I like Empy he's a good guy but he shouldn't try to fool himself or others that group play isn't waaaay more OP than solo.

you invest like 1 div a map but you make around maybe 5 div profit per map (on 6 maps an hour) divide that by 8, you get the picture. Its just rly good early on because you can generate currency fast cause everything sells almost instantly (alot of uniques like Cold Iron Point etc) so that you can then invest into mirrors/other stuff thats cheap early but rises fast^^ the last point is even more true cause you can pool the currency to buy the rising assets faster

All the boring stuff of them running maps and not getting any crazy drops is not included, because it's boring to watch. and the usual empy videos of them getting juicy drops are like 4-8 minutes, that's along with some other stuff, maybe something funny in vc going down. that's from an entire day of streaming, 4-8 minutes worth of clips

If you are in need for easy money.. and your build can do shaper, you can buy fragments and farm him. Guaranteed profit 55c on every kill. 1-2.5 div/hour depending on your speed.

So the time to reward curve is much shorter. Meanwhile he is also doing Legion, which requires certain builds, so that again does not fall into alch and go play either.

I think its cool. but ive always thought for working folks just buying some currency is the way to go. I go to work 12 hours so i cant sit and play for 8 hours a day I WISH. So Spending 1 hour of work pay 25 bucks on 25 div is the same thing that took you 8 hours of 100 maps. I understand the bla bla bla. It comes down to time. Like I said i dont have days to sit playing but I still want to get some awesome gears for my class. Ive found 10 div or more this league but thats not touching good gear. A good gear choice can cost 20 30 div alone. My watchers eye cost 40div. farm for 2 days or work for 2 hours.
