Did you happen to replace the oil pick-up tube O ring while you had it out of the car? If not, definitely wanna make sure to on the next motor. May or may not be your problem now, but it's definitely one of the big issues on the LS engines. You can get a clamp-bracket that secures it on the "loose side" as extra insurance too.

Quick question in case you didn't notice and hopefully it can be fixed before it messes up your pads. If you look at the beginning of your rotor swap, arent you installing them in the opposite direction from how they were installed on the old rotors?

Lol I gotta 4.8 from a 2001 Silverado with a 220/220 cam, runs like hell ,spins up to 7500rpm I currently have it in my ‘73 c10 short bed fleetside, just got done spending $2400 in the form of a turbo kit for it, just gonna paint it first before my wife catches me hanging a turbo on it!!!! Lol……it’s in primer right now sitting in the garage, got the white paint with a blue ghost pearl going into the clear coat, it’s gonna be super dope…..my lsa supercharged 370lq9/ls3 powered nova is white with the green ghost pearl in the clear, it was the first car I painted with actual paint all by myself in my cramped garage
