Poem by Me. Black, Black, Black. Bringing awareness to Black cats. The hardest to be adopted.

I wrote this 13 years ago. I am not the best of writers and I am not a professional poet or even considered to be a poet. This just came from my heart as I sat there looking at my beautiful black cats that had such a hard life before they came to me. I've been told by shelters that black cats are the last to be adopted, the hardest to get adopted.
I asked why, and was only told that probably because of superstition and one of the major reasons was because they're hard to photograph. can you imagine not inviting such a beautiful creature into a home because it's hard to photograph.
I wanted to capture the beauty of them with photographs that I took. Most of them. anyways, some of the black cats shown are ones that I either took care of or are on social media like Seth MacFarlane's cat that he rescued.
But as you can see they photograph just fine. I hope that you and Mike went into your home and you rescue them. They are very lovable and very loyal.
