You do a great job of bringing out the charm of his work. I love that you brought up the potential influence of Corso's poem on Ferlinghetti's. The minute I heard Coney Island in Corso's poem the question was in my mind. It's not like there are a lot of Coney Island poems. I also love that you talked about images that recur during the course of the book. I really liked that last poem you read. Yes, that last section has a driving rhythm that makes the black seem inevitable and outside of the speaker's control.

"In the Tunnel-bone of Cambridge," as well as Corso's "Coney Island" are some of my favorite poems from this era, alongside Ferlinghetti's "Coney Island of the Mind". So it's not just me then. There's something there between the two Coney Island poems. You hear it too!

Greetings from Brazil! Here Corso still lacks translations, but most good poets in activity consider him one of the most necessary reading from de Beat generation. Recently, I’ve translated some poems from Ferlinghetti. Even though my main interest was in Louis Zukofsky. Do you only write/speaks as a literary critic (every critic is a co-writer) or do you also write poetry properly said? It must be said that I didn’t watched all your videos, trying schedule them though Thank you so much for sharing this content!!
