I’m a huge Janet Jackson fan . Went to see it 5 times in the theater, and countless times on DVD and streaming. Her song from the film, “Again” was nominated for an Academy Award. Director John Singleton wrote the part especially for Janet. He was a huge fan also.

That's incorrect. The dude that shot Ricky (Lloyd Avery) in BITH is in fact the same actor who shot Q-Tip in Poetic Justice. That's his real life brother (Chè) standing next to him playing the video game, but they're not twins. He doesn't have a twin. Lloyd Avery was also in a spoof movie called 'Don't Be A Menance To South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood' 😊
