What an engaging, dynamic educator. Mesmerizing and fascinating, imaginative, beautifully choreographed education for children of all ages. Thank you for sharing your passion for, and expertise of, science!

Its a shame he designed the anti christian models that leading to simply being 'christian' consider a gross thing to be. Having smeared them matters were abble to have the practice of christianity by individuals ( can still happen in groups in churches just not outside ) in public banned ( by LAW ) and deemed thought crime in effect. What happened next is predicable considering those were the first since the witch trials. The model have been re=purposed to abolish everyones free speech. You might want to thank this hate crime designer for doing this to your children but i don't appreciate him doing it to mine nor grooming a consensus for first sneaking up on christians just so it could be everyone else later! Yes it is high time this penny dropped among people. He might have good sounding patter and a lot of patience down the yearsd. Hes a scientist supposedly & with all due respect hes 'sounds' interesting enough to the casual observer. Not one word in books nor speech was new discovery mind you. This is a man who merely remarked concerning what was already in parlances. And when it actually comes to getting unique things done ? It would be the cancelation of EVERYONES FREE SPEECH.

The ultraviolet (UV) vision of bees offers a fascinating glimpse into how different creatures experience the world. Flowers that appear ordinary to humans often reveal stunning ultraviolet patterns to bees, acting as natural guides to nectar and pollen. These patterns, invisible to us, serve as "nectar maps" that efficiently direct bees to their food source while ensuring pollination a beautiful example of co-evolution between plants and their pollinators. This UV vision expands our understanding of perception, reminding us that reality is far richer than what human senses alone can detect. It also highlights the importance of preserving pollinator habitats, as these intricate relationships between bees and flowers are crucial for ecosystems and human agriculture. The ultraviolet garden is a hidden masterpiece, visible only to those equipped with nature’s specialized lenses.

@@Liberty5024 If it does then the abolition of free speech will follow because the model was beta tested on religion before banning everyone. However i suspect your remarks are just as likely to be 'getfan' merchandise that mean thus nothing.

Awesome, as an American Atheist I love Indias push towards enlightenment as it feels like a bastion of ethics in the east and even the religious believe in the advancement of science. Sorry for the neighbors in Pakistan though

great episode. even as an adult // cell lineages stop dividing just when they are supposed to in such a way that all our bits are about the right size relative to our other bits of course in some cases cell lineages don't stop growing notoriously when they should and when that happens we call it cancer. 😮

There was an understanding that the age of enlightenment or the lighting up of our environment for the benefit of mankind became the beginning of the end, as it was forgotten that some insects fly toward the light. They then exhaust themselves in the process. All so we can find our way home to our virtual doorstep by the light of streetlamps. There is a fragment of film by the Germans proving this point. Thanks for the lecture.

well, we know now how the ultra violet garden looks like and some flowers get more contrast in the UV spectrum, they tend to absorb more UV light in the middle, while other flowers do not utilize the UV spectrum

I sincerely hope that all people in the future will be scientifically literate. Considering that there's a lot of chaos currently happening all over the world, giving us a lot of reason to be pessimistic, doing our best is the only thing we can ever do. Science is the best way we can approach the world and the proof of that is all around us. Despite of that fact, us humans, if not for being scientifically literate, will rely only on our feelings and intuition leading to an ever probable establishment of "truth" without proper evidence. Such dangerous approach will likely end us. By end I mean to either kill ourselves or stagnate to the point of no progress ever being made. Only hate and violence because we, if without evidence and unreasonably (unfortunately) decided to build our own hill ("truth") and proclaim that we'll stand on it until we die, then that's it, we die.

For a purpose we've given to whatever benefit they might provide. They have existed and probably will continue to exist with us. We humans, are the ones who created what we might say is their purpose ourselves. That means that these animals have existed long before we were here. When us humans eveloved consciousness, we began to understand things around us, we learned their uses, what we call their purposes, for the goals that we've established, whether for our survival and/or for our own self-interests.

Since Prof. Dawkins so persistently links his lectures with Christmas that it is precisely at this time that it is most advantageous for him to present his theories and ideas, I too, when I come across his lecture, take the liberty of presenting the opposite opinion. Of course, if anyone doesn't want to read it, then don't! And whoever wants to, there you go: there are two topics that people treat as one and that is a mistake. It is about the evangelical end of the world as we know it, and apocalyptic visions of the end of the world in general. -These are not the same thing! As far as the former is concerned, as a result of a direct and never again to be repeated intervention of God Himself in the history of mankind, there will be changes all over the Earth so drastic and practically impossible to describe accurately that in fact the only all-embracing title will be the name: the end of the world as we know it. And what is most interesting is that it is absolutely not being considered by scientists, absolutely! And no wonder. Their minds, closed to any other option for perceiving the universe than the scientific one, are not even able to allow such a thought. As the Gospel end of the world is described by St Paul, you can read for yourself that it will consist of the second coming of Jesus Christ, the universal rising from the dead and the rapture of the Church to God Himself in Heaven. Virtually no one, with very few exceptions, makes the mental effort to visualise THESE EVENTS. -This is a great mistake! But what to expect from these minds? Just who will they resent LATER? Millions of questions and allegations and....thousands of years for answers. Until one day they will finally realise that they were blind and deaf and that no one owed them more than themselves.

Religious minds are closed ones. Just try to think it through. They believe in supernatural while denying what is natural. Save the fear based baloney.

Mark 8:36-38 King James Version 36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels Romans 10:13 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. John 3:16 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 1 John 1:9 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
