Pop music? Really? In what era? This is hard rock of the finest quality. Just started listening to them about a month ago and can't hardly bear to listen to anything else. Every LP is a masterpiece. I never get tired of that voice. I've got a lot of catching up to do. (Yeah, I love Impera by Ghost too). But POTF is going to be an obsession for a while.
@chrismaverick9828 Жыл бұрын
I wouldn't classify them as a hard rock group. It's really hard to classify them as their style is a combination of rock, pop, and alternative. That being said, if someone says they don't like POTF, they haven't listened to the right album yet.

Man, it's nice to see somebody look so happy listening to something. I feel your frustration about them not playing the states so much. I managed to see them on the UK part of the Clearview tour and I can confirm they're great live. Daze, locking Up The Sun and War were the highlights for me. It was a weird thing though because the venue was absolutely tiny and they had next to no special effects or anything going on, but you could really tell that everyone in the audience was absolutely loving it. It was so strange to see a relatively tiny line outside a venue and think "wow, this is way more people here than I expected". It's just nice to see other folks enjoying this band.
@AndyCrimson2 жыл бұрын
Experiencing a band in a small venue is such a special thing imo. You get an intimacy with the band that an arena struggles to come close to, despite the wow factor of a big production. Some bands could pull it off though. Crossing my fingers to see them one day.

@@JoePWI I know just about everything about PotF. The only reason I've played Remedy games is because of their music in them. But PotF have been growing softer in their latest albums. Huge Poets fan here, they're one of my absolute favorite bands together with Alter Bridge. Been listening to them since the start, got to know them through Late Goodbye which was featured in Max Payne 2. Liked that song a lot, looked them up (which was quite hard back then) and fell in love with their music. Usually they're topping the charts on my Spotify Wrapped. I've seen them live a number of times now, including three times in the span of a year where me and some friends traveled to Germany (I'm from the Netherlands) because they didn't announce any concerts in the Netherlands at first (they announced two not long after 😜). Have to say, the're amazing live. Marko's voice is so warm and pure, and they always turn it into a party. They're also very relaxed, possibly because they're not that well known (they usually perform for a crowd of under 1000 here). After one of the last concerts me and my friends were talking a bit just outside the venue and Jani even came outside to join us for a bit. Should you get the chance to see them (I know they've performed in the States before, once.. 😜), don't hesitate. And otherwise you're always welcome to join us here in the Netherlands! 😊

I really fell in love with them in 2010 when I first saw them performing. It was a small festival in a town called Järvenpää. There were supposed to be about 2,000 spectators, but because of the weather, there were maybe max 200 of us.
